Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began researching my family roots in July of 2009.
It all began when I thought first about my Irish O'Brien roots.
Then I began thinking about my mother's Swedish/German roots because I knew nothing about her family. She died when I was only 6.

Through the years I've found so many different branches it's been incredible! Ireland, England, France, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Vikings and on and on.

In turn, I have found so many cousins near and distant. It's been awesome!
I just love the history and stories.

It's a lot of work to research and do it correctly.

Find A Grave has been a great tool in helping in the searches of family history.

I love photography and traveling.
I have been in Kansas most of my life.

RE: Hess
My George Hess was born in Germany and married Barbra Ruth shortly after arriving in Louisville, KY. His trade was cabinet making. He eventually became a famous undertaker with several locations and did have a furniture factory. One of his sons carried on the Funeral business for many years after his death. His dates are 1809 to 1861. I don't know if he is your George Hess or not. There is at least one other George Hess that was in this area concurrent with mine, but I don't anything about him. My George is my maternal 3X great grandfather. Lots of George Hesses, as Hess is a very common German name.

Tombstone says 1902, and you are asking a change to 1903. Please send your proof.

RE: Troxler
Let me know when you're coming this way and if you have more family in Cave Hill and I'll help you out. Cave Hill is 396 acres of stones and I know it pretty well after almost 6 years. It's the only cemetery in town that I go to and it keeps me pretty busy.

Do you know who Joseph Monty's parents were. I am doing a family tree for my son-in-law. Joseph is one of his Great Grandfathers. I would like more information if possible.
Thank you
