Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm just a person with a great interest in genealogy and history. I enjoy walking through cemeteries and reading the headstones. I really hate seeing a cemetery in bad shape, forgotten about, headstones laying on the ground, and weeds and grass very high.
My father told me a few times when I was young, "everyone should know their history"........well, I took that to heart. I grew up watching him read, among other topics, historical books on the Civil War, and many, many , many westerns.
As well as being a reenactor in the 58th Va. Infantry, I am an active member of the Summers-Koontz Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans in Luray, Va., as well as an active member of "The Immortal 600", Military Order of the Stars and Bars.

Thank you so much for what you do....
We are descendants of John William Brown and Laura Woodard family. We are in Tucson, Arizona and its so wonderful to be able to see headstones of our loved ones in Sperryville Cemetary.
