I have been a member since 2001. Adding Memorials is a hobby. Walking through cemeteries is also a hobby; seeing old graves and any comments on headstones often times are very interesting.

I have family all over the South. I generally add, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, Memorials in mostly southern states: Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties, Texas; Benton, Carroll, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Henderson, Henry, Madison and Stewart Counties, Tennessee; Arkansas, Kentucky and other states.

Please do NOT copy my photos found on my Memorials and then post to your Memorials.

Please suggest edits by the Edits tab on the Memorial. If you want Management of your family member, please state how you are related and I will review and consider the Transfer. Please do not ask if you are not directly related. Also, I previously had a similar message like the one below on my Profile and thought it was a good idea to bring it back:

While I very much enjoy adding Memorials, I am not running a race to become a "Top Contributor." If at some point I become a Top Contributor, great. But, it is not my goal in life. There are far more important things in life to be concerned about. Some of the messages I have read on other Contributor's Profiles were vicious and uncalled for. I am fortunate and have only received one or two spiteful messages to which I decided to ignore. Please know, before creating a record, I perform a thorough search as much as possible of the records to avoid duplicates. It is easy to overlook a record and create a duplicate from time to time. In the past, I have received several requests to delete my record because it was a duplicate of their record created before mine. I have learned this is not always the case.

I am a member of a small Church of Christ congregation in east Texas.

God bless.

RE: Graves / Carolyn Marshall
i've had times where funeral homes weren't too crazy about me going inside to ask directions where some folks are buried. i visited Restland about 3 years ago with a list of my own family members.... mainly aunts.... once-upon-a-time married aunts who, of course, all had different last names. the guy gave me an odd look and asked if i was related to these people. at the same time, i was also looking for the resting place of my paternal grandparents and almost felt like i needed to show him my drivers license to prove they were indeed family. SO, i don't walk into funeral homes anymore anticipating too much help.
anyhow, you are very welcome, and once again, i thank you for your very kind words.
have an awesome day!

Thanks for the very kind words, Janice. It does help to work together. I've gotten a few replies that have almost made me quit the work here on Find A Grave. "Almost", but not quite yet. :)
God bless you too!

RE: Mary Bradshaw
Asked a nurse friend.....cause of death was metastatic chondrosarcoma. Chondrosarcoma is a form of cancer that results from the abnormal cellular growth of the cells responsible for the formation of cartilage in the bones. This particular type of cancer belongs to the classification of self tissue malignancies, s know specifically as sarcomas. Various types of cancer can affect the skeletal system and an approximation of 30% of all bone cancers are made of up of chondrosarcomas, usually affecting the axial skeleton that composes the central region of the body such as the ribcage or the vertebral column. That last bit of info came from a friend who is a nurse and who used to work for an orthopedic doctor.

I would like to thank you for posting the memorial for Mr. Todd Bowman. I only knew him as an officer ( on the right side of the law of course ) and he will missed greatly by those who knew him.
