Nearly all of the memorials I have entered and flowers left are somehow related to our family, if you happen to be related would love to hear from you.|
I am currently working on trying to locate the final resting place of all the men who were part of the First Special Service Force, aka Devil's Brigade or Black Devils. In July 2013, the Congressional Gold Medal was awarded, collectively, to the First Special Service Force, in recognition of its superior service during World War II. Presentation of the Congressional Gold Medal took place February 3, 2015 in Washington D.C.
My father-in-law, C.W. "Tiny" Beacon served in this elite unit.
Most memorials I have created in CT cemeteries are not family and happy to transfer to family or anyone who wishes to take care of memorial.

Respectfully requesting the transfer of Memorials for both my 2nd Grand-Uncle and Grand-Aunt:
Charles H. Curtis, Find A Grave# 101782922
Sarah L. (Pilkington) Curtis Find A Grave# 101783024
I can add a bit of info to their Memorials. I realize 'Edit's' can be submitted, but it would be an Honor to serve as maintaining their Memorials.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.

If you obtain the grave location from Pine Hills, I will take a photo.
Pine Hills staff are usually quite helpful.

Glad to help out. You absolutely have my permission to post to the WWII site. Could you send me a link? I would be interested in seeing the site. I've had some photos posted to a Vietnam casualty site, too. I have a great respect for the men and women in uniform.

No problem at all, no photo credit required.

yes, you can use any photos at any time. That's very cool that they served together in the same unit.
