I have been building a virtual family cemetery for years. It has taken me many hours of research to bring my family together. I am reticent to separate my family members from the rest of their family. I make every attempt to search for duplicate memorials before adding a family member. If you believe I have duplicated your memorial let us compare birth or death certificate, obituary, and/or you may verify your relationship is closer than mine. I will likely know you. Should I find a possible duplicate memorial I will contact the other owner contributor directly and ask that the owner of the possible duplicate memorial do the same directly. I look forward to working with you to assure souls are united with their families and remembered.|
I trust most contributors are altruistically motivated, are very kind, and remain open to transfer their memorials to a family member if they have no relationship to the person they submitted to Find A Grave. Most contributors, like me, ask themselves what the person they submitted would want if they could choose. Presumably we all want our family members' memorials with someone related who will preserve, enhance, and maintain their memorials effectively. My admiration and appreciation is extended to Find A Grave and the many contributors who sincerely care about uniting precious souls with their families. Thank you all for contributing your time.
Special Thanks to TLH member #46812087 for transferring MC Cullen to me for his family's virtual cemetery. You were most kind to do so.

I submitted some edits awhile back. Just wanted to let you know they are there.
|G Moore||Thomas and Naomi Gillespie|
I have been researching the family of Thomas Gillespie and Naomi Thompson on WikiTree and FamilySearch.com. Thought you might be interested with your relation to Issac Lemuel Gillespie.
I came across the fact that one of Thomas's daughters, Lydia Gillespie Knox, was the mother of President James Knox Polk's Mother.

|Judy Dunn||Hannah Gillespie Jones|
Hannah Gillespie Jones is my 4 times great grandmother. She and Robert Jones were married in Augusta County, VA and moved to Ross Co., OH soon after. Her (Thomas)father's Will was probated on 1 June 1785 in Augusta Co., VA. A redacted copy is available on "Virginia, Land, Marriages, and Probate Records, 1639-1850" on Ancestry.com. He and Eleanor's children are listed. I have also tracted what I think is his service record in the Rev. War. I am a Jones on my mother's side--Jones was her maiden name. There were so many men named Thomas that it is very confusing. Do you have any family/Bible records to share with me? I would especially like any records of Thomas and Eleanor and their parents. Do you have a Vital Record or Bible Record of Thomas the elder's birth or his and Eleanor Bowen's marriage?
Thank you so much! JKDunn

You might want to pursue researching Frederick Cullen(s) born in Bertie county North Carolina. In 1791 Frederick married Elizabeth Wimberly in Bertie county. In 1805 Frederick purchased land in Georgia. My research indicates that Elizabeth's father was Ezekiel Wimberly. It appears the likelihood that Ezekiel Wimberly Cullen is the son of Frederick and Elizabeth is very strong.
I am related to the Cullen(s)/Cullin(s) families that came out of Bertie and Gates Counties of North Carolina. Both my mother and brothers have taken DNA testing. Perhaps someone from your family has done also and we could compare the test results for a match.

|Kathy B||Fred Cullen|
I am a great great granddaughter of Fred Cullen. According to records in the Houston Glenwood Cemetery, he and his wife Sallie are buried there in unmarked graves. His burial was 11 December 1916.

|Art Stewart||Copyright attempt of pictures|
Why do you bother to attempt to copyright pictures that many researchers like to view ? We have ancestry trees that share many, many limbs of ancestral trees. People like you attempt to stifle the good intentions of other researchers who like to do research and share it. I have hundreds of old family pictures that no one else has, and I love to share them with other researchers. If you don't want to share, quit ! Feel free to sue me !
This is a duplicate memorial. Please remove this one .As you can see the other one has neem entered long before this one.God Bless You

|Debra||RE: Gladys and Victor Burton|
I am working on the Burton line and found all the siblings of Victor. I just cannot find where James John Milton "Bunyan" and Susan Frances Lynn Burton are buried. Most of this family was in NM where I live and some in Texas and Oklahoma. Been trying to find death records of them too but no luck so far. Will let you know if I find anything. You do have the information correct on the Coffey side. Debra
