Bio and Links
Bio Photo I sincerely hope that we will have a choice between using the old format and the new format for this website, because I really do NOT like the new version. In fact, I dislike it so much that I may have to quit doing what I have loved to do for the past thirteen plus years.

My purpose in doing this is to see as many people who are no longer with us remembered and connected to their family members.

I DO believe in connecting those people to their relatives whether their place of burial is known or not. They existed, and also have a right to be remembered. And they are still very important links in a family´s genealogy. Also, Find A Grave is tied to Ancestry--which makes it all the more important.

Hmmm...are you using the new website or the old? I've noticed some weird problems like that on the new one. If you can't get it to work, just delete the cooredinates and I can add them back later. The coordinates are not that important anyway, as the plot is pretty easy to find with a map and the existing pictures as a guide.

While we're at it, here is the information on others buried at the same location:
Charles J. C. Loewenstein: 8/13/1853-?
Annie E. Loewenstein: 9/3/1854-10/24/1901
Michael Loewenstein(son of Charles J. D. and Elizabeth): 7/6/1908-1/2/1912
Catherine A. Fink: 10/1/1886-1/16/1929

If you would like to create memorials for these, I am happy to upload the photos.

Regards,
Joe Canner

Barbara, Always good to hear from you. I agree about the name and have changed it. I'll see if I can find Robert and his son when I get a chance.

Thomas H Poindexter
I am looking for documentation that will tie Thomas H. Poindexter buried in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (Find A Grave Memorial# 80333256) and his son William A. Poindexter buried at East Bend Baptist church Cemetery)

Have been looking for baptism or or documents that will prove they are father and son. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to help a friend with a lineage organization.

Thanks,
Brenda Brown

RE: Capitola Pinnix Bailey
Wow. I was trying to figure out what the "G" stood for as her middle initial. Duh, her mother's maiden name was Graves, so I suppose that makes sense.

I have her birth date as 14 JUN 1867 and her marriage date as 27 Jan 1886, which makes her 18, when marrying John Chambers Bailey.

Oh my, I didn't realize I had added her last name as Walker until you pointed it out. I was working on her husband's sister's line, Nannie (Bailey) Walker, so I must have had Walker on the brain. Nannie (Bailey) married Moses Albert Walker Sr., who was son of Harriet Rebecca (Bailey) Walker. Harriet Rebecca (Bailey) Walker was the aunt of both the afore mentioned John Chambers Bailey and Nannie (Bailey) Walker. So that means that Nannie (Bailey) Walker married her first cousin. I think there are funny songs about family relationships such as this. LOL.

Thanks again for pushing me to dive deeper into this and then sharing the other articles. It's nice to have this puzzle solved.

All my best,
Teresa Dorey

Hello! Back in May I had asked you a question relating to the Banners. I never thanked you! So, I am doing that now ... thank you for taking the time to reply to my inquiry. I appreciate it very much. Take good care!
