Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family tree with my interest in Toles (Towles), Powers, Cummins, McCall, Ingram, Farr, Lynch, Robertson, Nation, Coldiron with most of them in Kentucky and Georgia. I absolutley enjoy looking for family headstones and I know how much it means to me to be able to locate a headstone and I enjoy the fact that I can do this for others.

I'm also researching my husbands family which is Wingate, Goodrich, Aldridge, Cummins, Collier, Watts, Harlow and Young.

*~* I am currently working on documenting Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, Franklin Co., Kentucky. I have completed all of Sections O, R and U with memorials and headstone photos (some graves have no headstones) I have just started working on Section Q*~*

If any information I have added is incorrect please let me know. If you would like a memorial transferred to your management I will be glad to do so, regardless of the family connection, as I prefer that they be with family,

Please take a moment and visit my sister Jamie's memorial and leave a flower.

Happy hunting for that elusive stone.
***You may use my photos but please place my name as photogapher of the photo***

RE: Daniel Ziegler
Thank you for your investigation and correction. I am also looking for the burial place of John L Ziegler. He was the husband of Sarah Ellen Ziegler that you've documented. I'm wondering if he is also buried in Frankfort Cemetery.

Name
Thank you for documenting the graves in Frankfort Cemetery. I have a question on memorial #58673273. You list the name as David H Ziegler. I'm wondering if the correct name is really Daniel H Ziegler. The death date and cemetery match what I have found for Daniel H Ziegler. Thank you.

RE: Finley and Laverne Collier
Thanks Tina, this is greatly appreciated. Finely Collier parents are Finley and Mellie Godwin Collier from central Florida. Finley is my Grandmother's brother. There is a very large family of Colliers in central Florida. I don't recall any family being linked to Collier's in Kentucky. There maybe some relation but not a direct line. You can research the Collier Family tree I have on Ancestry.com. The tree is labeled "Kopta, Bryant, Hankins, McClelland, Godwin, Collier, Tomlinson of Florida".

John Collier was an old pioneer who moved from Georgia and settled in Florida during the Mid 1800's. He had about 20 kids between 3 marriages. Finley is from this Collier line.

Finley, who was called "Elbert", moved away from Florida and lived in St. Louis. He returned frequently to visit family. My mother remembers Finley very well coming to visit.

Let me know if you need any additional information and I will be glad to share with you.

Thanks,
Kenny

Finley C Collier Transfer
Hello Tina, this was such a wonderful surprise to finally locate the burial of a Great Uncle and his wife Laverne.

Finely C. Collier - 73651901
Laverne E. Collier - 73651931

Can you kindly transfer the both of them to my care so I can keep the family together.

Thank you very much for your efforts in taking the time to gather and publish this information on Findagrave.

RE: Charles Sturgill
I have found a Charles Sturgill at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston WV....Plat index doesn't show him there, however, a logbook index of 'free ground' graves shows him buried in one of three, free ground 'paupers grave' sections. Burial date lists Jan 1st 1937 and Barlow Bonsall funeral home as the undertaker. I'm following the trail that goes>>>>that-a-way>>>>>> :) It's be fun !...:) Dwight D. Halstead.
