I enjoy writing and sharing my research with others. I ask that you please do NOT post my pictures or my family information on Ancestry. Contact me through Find A Grave if interested in my information or wanting to share. Thank you.|
If you want to clean-up my photos, please ask me so I can send a larger image to work with. I prefer uploading them if the cleaned-up image is better. Thank you.
I am honored to maintain memorials for all Philadelphia Police Officers that died in the line-of-duty and those Brothers buried in the Soldiers' Home burial Lot at Mount Moriah Cemetery (Yeadon, Pa.) to embrace "the Warrior Ethos of honoring the sacrifice of those fellow Soldiers who died in service to our Nation."

GRAVESTONE LOCATION Mount Moriah cemetery Philadelphia
Section 133 Lot 111 Row 2 Grave 9 (second row)
I added a couple dates and facts for you to review. I also added Richards memorial page . He was the younger son of George and Elanor and is buried in the same lot. An older son George, Jr. is also deceased but I'm not certain where he is buried.
I have not been to the grave site in many years and did not realize that there were names missing. I am unable to travel much so if you live near there perhaps you could check cemetery records re. George Jr.
Thank you for helping to remember those who have gone before us.

I am the pastor of the New Paltz United Methodist Church, which was one of the stations on the Flanders circuit when Rev. Johnson was serving.
We have just spent 2016 celebrating 230 years of Methodism in New Paltz. I am putting together a booklet of memorials of the men and women that have served here.
As you saw, the Conference minutes just tell us about his service from 1788-1794. I would like permission to create a fuller memorial to him, using your information.
This booklet would be in our church, offered to any congregants or friends who would like a copy, (I do not expect many people will request it) and a copy would go to the C. Wesley Christman Archives of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. http://www.nyac.com/archives
I would also send a copy to the Methodist Library at Drew University, which houses the records for the worldwide church. http://gcah.org/#
I hope you will give permission, so that Rev. Johnson may be remembered with those who also served.
Bette Johnson Sohm,
Pastor, New Paltz UMC

The memorial was transferred. I'm not related to any in this family, I walked this cemetery and used the WPA records to gather information. If you'd like any other transfers, please let me know.

Any idea where to find another copy?
|Robert Wiggins||Michael Treon Bio|
Thank you for all your work on the Treon family. I was reviewing the memorial of Dr. Michael Trion, 30151271, and noticed you included a reference to a book "Dr. Michael Trion Sr. Family History" by Merritt W. Wolfe. Do you own a copy of this book? Did you find it in a library? Was it self published by Wolfe? I have been trying to locate a copy with no luck. I found an entry on Amazon, but the book is not available. I don't see any history either confirming when it was last available.

Thank you for the info. I don't think this John is one of my Springer cousins so I transferred his memorial to you.
