My mom and best friend, Diana passed away on October 7, 2017. She and I shared a lot of memorable times together, whether it was just sitting around talking or taking one of our road trips visiting the back roads of Northwest Montana. Please visit her memorial page and leave a flower. She truly was a wonderful person to have as a friend.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.
In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.
Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.
Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space.
I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab and please include your member number.
You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

Holy Cow, you went back a long way in your ancestry line. I'm not that lucky. I'm stuck on the Whitney side to my 3x great grandfather. I should go to the library one day and speak to the historians / research staff there.
Thanks for sharing...

Interesting!! Our family is very small so excited to hear that. Who are your Whitney relatives?

|RAP||RE: Edits For George Edsall|
Thanks for reminding me.... I need to check that site when doing edits. I tried Family Search, which sometimes I find conflicting info.
Just send me a message if you change your mind about the transfer(s).

Thank you for the edits on George Edsall 176298157 and Jennie Graham 176282524. I am having trouble verifying George's parents. You requested he be linked to Phillip and Rhoda Edsall. If you are sure they are his parents, I will link them. I'm not questioning you, I just wanted to double check since I can't find the information.
Please let me know if you would like a transfer. I am not related to either person.

That was very kind of you to send me the McInerneys. Harold's wife Mary was the granddaughter of my 2nd great grandma's sister, Catherine Parker Maloney. So Mary Florence Maloney McInerney and I share my 3rd Great Grandparents, Leonard Parker & Mary York Parker. I'll go through them all & add what I have about their lives. Thank you!
|RKD||Esther Big Day|
Thank you for the edit suggestions to Esther Big Day's memorial. I like to have a lot of genealogical info. on my memorials but given that this was a self imposed project to capture as many graves in this neglected cemetery as possible, while working in the area for a few months, I knew too little. I appreciate your contributions and hope it brings the family some gratification to see their loved one memorialized well.

|Sara||RE: Mary Goodman|
My best friend is a Goodman (Lee Goodman Starkel/Kansas) and I made a family tree for her in Ancestry. I was just doing a bit of updating. Mary Francis Smith Goodman is her 2nd great grandmother.
Thanks for the correction. I was thrilled to see Find A Grave info giving Mary Francis' parents' names because we hadn't yet found that bit of information. Love doing genealogy and love the community it creates.
