Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, Thank You for visiting! This site has been a tremendous library for me and is helping me track down long deceased relatives & other people of interest. I am familiar with the resting places within New Haven County. Drop me a line if I can be of any assistance. I have an interest in Fair Haven as well as immigrants from Italy who settled in the New York, New Haven area.I also try to pay tributes to all my Brother & Sister Officers who persished either in the line-of-duty or natural causes. What began as a family entity has now evolved into a passion. If you find one of your friends or relatives that I have posted and would like me to add a bio for that person, I would be more than happy to add it here.**Note** If you made it this far, please visit my "Flowers Please" virtual cemetery and plant a flower. Thank You

RE: Edward Free Westville cem. 1925??
Thanks so much. I don't know who Donald would have been. I only know that my Edward had a daughter with his second wife. I don't know if he had any other children with Marie.

RE: Edward Free Westville cem. 1925??
Thank you so much. I contacted Hawley Lincoln. They seem to be the holder of Records. When we spoke today, the only Edward Free they have on record was buried in 2007. I also noticed on the record that I have which I found this month, lists my Edward and a Jr.... so the Edward that you have a memorial for might very likely be the father... my 4 great grandfather. I want to plan a trip up to CT, if I can determine for sure if my Edward is there. He disappeared from our family record and there were so many stories surrounding him. This is the closest I've gotten to any possible connection to him. Thanks again!

Edward Free Westville cem. 1925??
Hello there.

I found your e-mail via Find a grave. I am wondering if perhaps you might be able to help me. Im in search of my GGGreat Grandfather Edward Free from New Haven CT I have found online records that he is buried in Westville Cemetery in New Haven, CT I saw that you have listed in your memorials an Edward Free who died in 1907. My Edward that Im looking for died in 1925. My request of you is if you might know if there is another Edward Free in this cemetery. Do you live in New Haven, that youd be able to do a search in the cemetery for me? I live in Reading PA. Where Edward Free once lived. He had a second wife with whom he lived in CT, her name was Marie with a daughter Esther V born in 1898. I have been searching for Edward for 20 years but my family have searched for him for about 100 years, ever since he left our family.

I called a funeral home in NH CT who has the records of burial for Westville cemetery, but they dont have any Edward Free in their records, so Im very confused now. If you think you can help me, I would appreciate it if not, I understand and thank you.

Sincerely,

Denny Super-Witwer

RE: Blake Street Cemetery
Hi there:
More info. is always good, so if it's not too much trouble that would be great. I don't mind transferring management of them to you if you're interested. I know there's a lot more burials in the Hale index that are yet to be entered into find-a-grave but haven't gotten to it yet. : )

Best wishes,
Sue

RE: Are you still around?
I hope you're feeling better!

I had a quick question. Would you transfer management over to me of these people? They were my step-grandparents.

Thank you for honouring my late husband in your Virtual Cemetery of Thin Blue Line. I was very amazed and happy about it. We must not forget those who served to the end. Thank Son of Italy.
