Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, My name is Karen Johnson and I started doing my family tree in early 2004. Since I have met so many wonderful people that have offered to help in so many different ways, I thought I would help others who need the same kindness.

Most of my relative will be from Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, and my husbands are from North Dakota and Minnesota.

I would like to help full time but since I have two small children I will periodically be looking for those with requests within the Central Florida area. Hopefully I will meet a lot of you real soon :).

Hi Karen,
Requesting your permission to use the Tavares Cemetery entrance photo for use in our personal tree. It will make a great addition and as always you will be given credit and findagrave will be noted.

Charles Vermillion
Thanks you for adding the links for Charles Vermillion. I appreciate the offer to transfer the memorial but the relationship is a very distant one and I don't have additional information to add. Thanks again.

re: Photo request-Clive B. Daniel
Thank you so much for the photo of my relative's grave marker. I'm glad you took this photo with the American flag displayed, as he was so patriotic and was proud to have served in our military. Your kindness is very much appreciated.

RE: Walter Kimbro
I apologize that my Great Uncle is being like this, he even had the nerve to tell my Grandmother that she spelled her last name wrong. There is a rather stupid debate about one letter. I don't know why they can't leave it alone, I don't care how they spell their own last name. Please remove it and email me at to let me know how to remove it from the memorial.

Walter Kimbro
I am the son of Walter Kimbro and had the marker place on the grave. Who are you and what right have you got to dispute this information.

I'd like to ask permission to post your photo of the sign for this cemetery on my family tree. I'd be happy to give you credit. I have a few relatives buried here and I'm trying to document their resting place. Thanks for your consideration.

More Millikans

I walked the Circle Grove Cemetery at Spiceland, IN today and found next to William M. Millikan a Sarah F. Millikan. I have that picture if you want it. There was also another Wm. Millikan and I am submitting that picture through someone else's request. With those three graves was a big monument stone with Millikan only on it. I can provide that picture to you if you want. Another tidbit - I believe you have submitted a request for a photo for Sarah E. Millikan who died 6 Jan, 1922 and was buried at Sound Mound Cem. New Castle. If you go to there is a listing for Sarah E. Millikan with that same death date at this Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, although I could not find a stone for her. Just let me know about the other pix. Thanks. Frieda Pickering

A B Land
There is a marker (looks homemade)for A B Land in Lovewood Cemetery. Do you think he and John Allen Land are the same?

I also uploaded a picture of a more recent headstone for John Allen Land, Sr on his site.

What do you think?
