Bio and Links
Bio Photo Iím the oldest daughter of Donald and Mary Bickel, but didnít live with them growing up. I grew up with my fatherís mother and stepfather.

I've been doing genealogical research since 1999 and I'm always adding and updating my records. I look forward to connecting with relatives that I haven't even heard of yet! I have family trees on two websites.

I live near Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. and I will take pictures for you. Weather permitted. You have my permission to use my photos of Headstones in your own family tree.

Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, I'll be happy to help if I can.

If you are a direct relative of any of the persons I have posted contact me and I will gladly transfer the posting to you (if I am not more closely related to them).

These are my family lines I am currently researching (w/variant spellings):Bickel, Mena, Machen, Reischel, Rennhak, Thurman, Kenney, VanHolsbeke, Bonnin, Bangham and Mosley.

WIlliam Whitcomb
Hi Laurie,

I received an email regarding your request to add information to William Whitcomb's memorial. Please use the "Edit" button on the upper right of the memorial and complete the information you wish to add to his memorial. I can't add a spouse without her last name (which you can provide with the edit). Once you have added the information I can approve it.

Warm regards,

Uriah Ingram
You said, "Uriah Ingram - Did you see this memorial for my 4th great-aunt (Lavina Thoroughman)husbands Uriah Ingram. It was created by: Jim & Lori Rowe on Nov 29 2014. Find A Grave Memorial# 139394919 - Your Find A Grave Memorial# is 164651394 for him. Can you please add the message that he might be there."

There are (indeed) two entries for Uriah. I see that someone (you?) has requested grave-photos for both of those + Uriah's wife. If they exist, that will certainly resolve the matter. Pls advise.

You said, "I need your help. You made a memorial page for her. Find A Grave Memorial# 70431156. I have her marring Uriah Ingram. Your memorial has her husbands name as Ira INGRAM. Do you know where Uriah is resting? Added by Laurie Bickel Machen on Apr 11, 2016 4:21 PM".

Very sorry, my entry is that of a historian, we have no relationship to the deceased, and I have no further info - other than what is already posted at the memorial. It is (of course) entirely possible that she was married to BOTH men (an event that was not all that uncommon, in those days - often a 2nd marriage with a brother, or cousin...

You are So Welcome. I WISH I would had waited for Linking to Mom until I found her dad.
I knew this one was familiar and it turned out I found her mom in Dec 2010. Had I known what I was doing then You would have already had this info.
I created the Memorial for Sarah's Granddaughter yesterday. Because I do entire plots.
At this point I do not know who her parents are and for today I have photo retakes with sun on them and simply just to FIND 4 I missed big.
IF YOU have any information please message me.
