Cadmus is the combined efforts of the Stone family in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Our hopes are that our listings will help others to find family and friends no matter how distant. |
We feel this site can be a great aid in copping with grief after the loss of a loved one. We have contributed countless hours and efforts in adding memorials and biographical information to Find A Grave. The majority of the memorials we have added are of people unknown to us. These were added with the greatest respect.
If you would like a transfer of a memorial of someone please be nice there is no need to be rude or unfriendly. We consider all transfer requests that are submitted to us but reserve the choice to adhere to Find A Grave guidelines for memorial transfers. (direct-line/ four generations). Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave and it is highly likely that some of those contributors may be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors. The goal is not to own every memorial of those to whom you may be related to but to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it. We keep a listing of all the memorials we have transferred in our virtual cemetery section enabling us to stop by from time to time and leave flowers.
Researching our family Genealogy and History has become an enjoyable pastime for us. If you would like to contribute information to someone's biography or if we have made a mistake in our information to any of the interments we have listed, please don't hesitate in contacting us. Because of copyright laws our memorials are written in past tense and not a copy of a obit from a funeral home. We also try to give credit to any funeral home, family member or friend of the family for the information we use. We do not violate the federal copyright act. It takes a lot longer to create a memorial in past tense to help others to be remembered but well worth the time. Please do not place death certificates or newspaper obits on any of the memorials we have created. We would rather you send us an "edit / Suggest a correction or an addition" and we will be happy to add the information to the memorial's biographical section. We prefer to utilize the picture area for photos and grave markers for these people to be remembered by.
If you are adding memorials to Find A Grave please add all the information you can to the listings, remember this is a tribute in memory to someones life not just another number on your way to being a top contributor. Please remember to always check for existing memorials before adding a memorial to the database so not to create duplicate memorials. In the event of two or more memorials, the memorial with the lowest number is the first and original memorial. (With the exception of unscrupulous methods such has changing the name and information on an older memorial to give a new memorial an earlier creation date, which can be easily detected by admins at email@example.com). So please "Search" before you create and/or sponsor any memorials.
We would like to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for blessing us with the ability to help those who have gone before us to be remembered because we know that we only live as long as we are remembered.
~♱~ღ~♱~ Taught by the Bible, Led by the Spirit, By his hand he leadeth me. ~♱~ღ~♱~
REVELATION 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."
Thank you to everyone who has left flowers, tokens and kind words for our loved ones. If you have time we would appreciate your visiting these memorials that are In need of Flowers.
~♱~ღ~ WHEN YOU REMEMBER ~♱~ღ~
When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that if we meet again, you will know me. It means that even after I die, you can still see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart. For as long as you remember me, I am never entirely lost. (Arthur Unknown)

Thank you so very much for the transfer of my mother in law , I greatly appreciate it , and all that you do . God Bless
After reading your profile page and a few of the memorials you have provided, I just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful words and for showing us how we should remember others. It is easy to see that the Lord Jesus is very much alive in you and shining through.

|William P. Barron Jr.||Leroy Mike BARRON|
Thanks for the obit info. I have edited and updated Leroy's Find-a-Grave memorial per your request. I'll see of Willard has a phone in Dayton and pass along my condolences. I live in Fairborn, 15 miles NE of Dayton. My father, "Paul" Barron (William Sr.) knew Lester, Denton, Clarence, Oscar and Freeda quite well from Bobtown school when they were young'ns. His dad Willie Barron was Tump's 1st cousin, and made things difficult for Luther Eaton at the Bobtown Post Office and store with both of them having the same legal name, and both married to girls named "Ida". LOL.

Thank you for posting my Mother's obituary. I visit my Dad's page often,but I haven't visited it since my Mom passed until now. I want you to know how grateful I am. Arlington told me that my Mom's name is on the stone now. I have no idea how it came out. Anyway, please thank (hope) for me if you can for putting the picture of my Dad's stone on his page and Cadmus for leaving beautiful yellow roses for my Mom. Thanks again and may GOD bless you all for your work.
Kindest Regards, DLC (BooBoo) Thought I'd let you know that someone appreciates your thoughts and work...

|Combs26||RE: Danny Slusher,|
Thank you I will delete the second one asap. I have several memorials that have been removed, because of the trick she was playing. Another member sent me more numbers she had faked. I wouldn't have caught on to what she was doing had she not posted two that had a date a day before the person passed away. I can't even get relatives transferred to me and I'm not sure they are going to do anything to her for what she did. It's sure not fair to the rest of us. Thank you for all your help and keep up the good work..
