Bio and Links
Bio Photo Because of generous volunteers who have found and recorded my ancestors, I've attempted to continue their kindness by adding names too.

This website is an excellent source for sharing various pieces of history about those before us. I respect others' contributions and hope you'll respect mine. To the detriment of morale, a minority want to "own" the files on everything they like - then add no additional information to those memorials.

If you'd like to discuss a specific memorial with me, click its Edit tab, then use the 'suggest a correction' link. Note that most edit requests do not require a transfer (i.e. relationship links); the VIRTUAL CEMETERY option exists for collectors. If extremely related, transfers are preferred.

Please contact me if you find flowers or an offsite link I've left that no longer works.

RE: Re: Dora Hanline
Dora is listed with her siblings on her Father Daniel's memorial. Anybody with serious intentions could find it, I think. I just wanted her own page to be accurate.

Why do some memorials have bio listed for edit and some do not? If not, how do I enter or edit a bio?

THANK YOU for your help. I've been keeping you busy. It finally dawned on me that I will be 80 soon (It had not made an impression!), and I am the only one left that knows all of this stuff. Most of it comes from my namesake Mary Emma Bush Hanline herself. I have her bible with ancestry included, and she kept daily diaries for many years (Quakers did that) and detailed cookbooks. How did she do that, handwritten, with 9-10 babies to take care of? She baked 10 loaves of bread every morning while everyone else slept, and while they were baking she wrote. Her messages often ended with "Bread is done."

No incorrect siblings. The list that was on the original version of the child was not complete. I wanted it gone because I had the names for all 9 of her siblings with correct name spelling and birth/death information to add.

Nancy Stills Youtsey #28237632
Hello Carla,

On the above memorial I sent some edits on her last name Still not Stills. I sent and edit to connect her to her father also and I think her second husband George Youtsey. She was first married to Ephraim P Kelley #73811616 and second to George M Youtsey #122431966. I sent the edit before I added Ephriam Kelley so would like for you to add him to her memorial. BTW, thank you for adding her to the database! If you have any questions just ask.

Thanks again,

Rob (YankeeGraver)#47149312

RE: Henry Bledsoe
Yes, Eli's wife Susan was much younger; she was born about 1849; they married in 1868 in Montgomery County, Arkansas. Henry is on the 1880 census with his parents in Montgomery County, age 8. Henry (William Henry) married first Mattie Kilby, and 2nd Laura Hill in 1914 in Montgomery County. In 1920, they lived in Beck, McIntosh, Oklahoma. Henry and Laura's younger children were living with Henry's sister in Oklahoma City in 1930.

RE: Re: Belle Tharp
Hi Carla - Sorry, I believe I missed your message in November. It appears that Nancy "Belle" and Etta Laird-Tharp now have the same mother in Find A Grave, Mary Jane Jackson Laird. If you agree, no reason the reply.
Thanks, NancyA
