I have been working on my family history for about 50 years, and love wandering through cemeteries. After all, they are history books just waiting to open. My surnames of interest include Spurrier, Scharmann, Yost, Weinberger, Cammack, Frazier, Way, Coffin, Swanson, Rodine, Davis, Lee, and of course, Lind.|

|Dean Wilson||Eli Hale Davis|
Doug--Saw your posting on Eli Hale Davis. My great grandmother was Mary Davis born 1879 to Henry F Davis and Margaret (Piper) Davis. Mary died in 1953.
Mary Davis was from Gage County, NE. Her father Henry was born in 1856 and mother Margaret born in 1833. This was confirmed in a Gage County marriage record for Mary from 1905. I have some reason to believe that Henry's father was Eli H Davis but the children's names you are showing do not match.
Can you look at your records and see if there is a possible relationship? Thanks

|Thomas Hunter Brown||Larmine City, Carbon, Wyoming|
Just wondered if you had heard of the above place? It is mentioned on a 'stone here in Bedlington, Northumberland, England, but I can find no reference to such a place. Two brothers die there in the 1870's who were probably coal miners. SE Northumberland was a coal mining area at the time.
|Timothy A. Taylor||Elizabeth Spurrier 6435767|
Is this the Elizabeth Spurrier you may be looking for?
|Mary Eleanor||Ivan Horn Cammack|
There is a copy on Ancestry.com of a document from Honduras indicating Ivan H Cammack died and was buried in Honduras.
'Reports of Deaths of American Citizens Abroad, 1835-1974’ gives the particulars regarding notification of family members and the location of his burial.
It is possible that his name was simply entered into the CA cemetery records or perhaps that his remains were actually transferred there.
|Judy W||John H Lee|
Am trying to determine which memorial belongs to John H Lee, son of Isaac F and Elizabeth Connell Lee. Both are in National Cemeteries on added by you and one added by Carol McCaig #18687857. Any recommendations?

|lizzyandme40||Linnie Dell Lee 1st marriage|
I wasn't aware that Linnie had been married before Nira Gill. I'm actually shocked. I cannot find any record regarding this, but would like to have a source that's not a "word of mouth." My records have only listed her with Nira Gill. According to the Find A Grave pages, she and Charles Millard Hobbs wasn't married very long. Other than a trip to Iowa, is there anyone out there that could do a lookup on the Court House records for a divorce record, also a marriage record for her and Nira. My records state her and Nira were married 03 Jul 1906, but now I'm finding it's just from someone else's records.
Thanks to all the volunteers who do such a wonderful service to the rest of us.

Was wondering if this gentleman had roots of Alexandria Nebraska. I am working on an alumni book and found this name. I do have a J and Jane Orr buried in the Alexandria Cemetery but no other information.
Any information would be appreciated.
