Very interested in info on Schomberg family, also photos and info of Albert Galverton Presnall and his wife Mable E. Schomberg. Looking for info behind her family, especially. (other then what I have on my web site for her family). Any info appreciated.
I copied this from Forgetmenot but thought it appropriate:
"We will transfer any memorial, unless they are related & will gladly add obituaries or any other pertinent information. Please feel free to use our photographs for genealogical purposes."
Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

Oops!! My fingers got ahead of my mind! Thanks so much for helping us locate the cemetery -- much appreciated. We are planning on being in Cedar County sometime the week of April 9th.

We are coming to Missouri in a few weeks and are interested in visiting Cravens Cemetery. Could you provide a little more details on getting there from Stockton? It would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I just want to compliment you on the superior quality of grave photos you have provided at the Brasher Cemetery. The way you have also shown the area of adjoining grave is very nice and I know very time consuming.
Job well done and going the extra mile.
Just checking with you why the edit I sent to you for parent links for Barney was declined. Lawrence & Elizabeth info is accurate and well documented, they are my Great-Great Grandparents. Just checking.
|McCauley-Mitchell||RE: Barney Bruckner|
My Grandmother was Mary Emma Bruckner, married to Sherman Mitchell. Joseph Bruckner is my Great Grandfather, his brother Barney would be a 2nd Great Uncle.
Lawrence & Elizabeth (Lizzie) are my Great-Great Grandparents.
I am also trying to get these all worked out correctly, which is not an easy task at times, but is quite a wonderful process all the same. Thank you for your work with this, it is appreciated.

Could you tell me the doc. for the place of birth? I have the 1920 census showing Bohemia,(Aust) from my Grandfather's papers I just found.
Sorry to bother you about it.
