RE: Mary Ellen Mitchell Nestlehutt
Hi Guys! Thank you for all your hard work. So glad to see that someone is working to help descendants connect to their ancestors.

I am interested in the birth information that you have provided for the above named. She is my maternal Great Grandmother. My mother, Florence Hudson Daniel, was pretty keen and sort of our own ancestry go-to on the family information and she always said that Grandma Nestlehutt was born in Georgia.

It has long been a debate with those of us who continue to work on the history that a possible clue is that one of the daughters was named Indiana.

It is also written in my Grandmother Mary Gaston Hudson's bible that Mary Ellen was born in Georgia. I am in possession of that bible.

Thank you so much in advance for any new info you could provide.

Charles E. Thrasher
First, let me say “thank you” for adding the Jones Memorial Cemetery for our church. I noticed that an earlier comment stated the church had moved and changed names, and she doesn’t believe the new church is relevant to the cemetery. Let me assure you that the church, now known as the Jones Memorial First United Methodist Church, still maintains the cemetery and the cemetery records. The church is now located in the adjoining city of Lake City, and families from our church are still using the cemetery for additional loved ones.
Secondly, I would like to ask you to link the memorial for Charles E. Thrasher (# 30120568) to his parents Velpo R. Thrasher (# 30120200) and Rush Dodson Thrasher (#30120248).
Many thanks for your efforts to build and maintain over 1,000 memorials! Many lives are touched by your caring attitude!

Re: 2 Joseph's
The 2 Joseph's were probably not in the same family. That came from Estelena McKinney Harper's book on Charles McKinney. I have never seen 2 joseph's together in one family on any census records. Also, Joseph Tarpley McKinney's death certificate states that his mother was Sarah Sally Hopson. The other Joseph("Jippin Joe") has Margaret Peggy Lowery as his Mom on his marriage license. But, Charles McKinney was father to both. Hope this helps!

RE: Benjamin Franklin Byas/Bias & Martha M. Linger
No, I do not know where he is buried. I think it could be Georgetown where Mattie is buried. His death certificate gives no information. It could be Bridgeport where his daughter Glenice Batton is buried. That is Harrison County and that is where he lived at time of death.
