We tend not to copy obits
Ignorance of one's ancestors ~ is to be a tree without a root ~ a river without a source
Every soul deserves to be remembered by as many as possible for as long as possible ~ Whether it is a life story, who they loved, or a scrap of information about how they looked ~ As long as we remember, they are still w/us

Remember me as you pass by
As you are now so once was I
As I am now so you shall be
Prepare for death & follow me
Knowledge once gained casts a light beyond its own immediate boundaries

You are so welcome, glad I could help. I love having them as well.
Thanks, I took off the pics that didn't belong.

|Deborah Heffley||RE: Greathouse|
It was my pleasure.
|Deborah Heffley||Waco & June Greathouse|
I have created pages for Waco and June Greathouse. They are buried right next to Janis and Jerry Greathouse. If they are also related to your family, I am happy to transfer the pages to your account.
|Deborah Heffley||Jerry R. Greathouse|
I have created a memorial page for Jerry Greathouse, husband of Janis. I would like to transfer management to your "Family" project. If you need any other photos taken in the Overland Park, KS area, I would be happy to oblige.
|Phyllis Krueger||Irene Ella Nightengale|
Thank you for the obit from the paper. I have also posted the one that was in the Messenger.
|Rhonda Brown||Vera Nations|
I got the photos added. Sorry it took me so long. I was gone and unable to get to my photos.
|Richard Culler||Rebecca McCorkle/McCorkhill|
Her last name on headstone was very hard to read, I know it started as McCork and the last letters were very hard to read. It could very well be McCorkhill. She is all your now, so you can fix it any way you see fit. Take Care, Richard By the way I grew up about three miles from that cemetery.
|Deborah Jackson||James Maple|
James Maple was my husband's 3xgreat grandfather through his daughter, Mary Ellen (Maple) Duncan. I am creating a profile for him on wikitree. Somehow, when I created a wikispace for Mary Ellen, I ended up adopting most of her family who had been created and then abandoned. I am just beginning to start on the Maples (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Maple-12 ). and was wondering if you could send any helpful information for the family profiles. In my mind these are narrative biographies to honor the memory of those that have gone before us. For example: Mary Ellen's Husband, John Miles Duncan https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duncan-273. I takes me 2-3 weeks to complete a bio for them. But I am gratified in knowing my husband's ancestors have been remembered in a very special way.
Thanks for your time,
Deborah L Jackson
