Henry C. Conner, house Mountain Cemetery
Very few headstones remain in the cemetery. Regretably no more than a dozen marked gravesare are in the cemetery.

Henry C. Clay House Mountain Cemetery
Hello Scott,
I returned from House Mountain Cemetery near Lexington, VA.
I could not find a gravestone for
Pvt. Henry C. Clay. died 1911.
Did you actually see a headstone or just use cemetery records for your find a grave recording?
I would like to know as know one near the cemetery remembered seeing Conner's headstone. Many have been lost.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Question about James Jones 1818-1862
I was just wondering where you got the Louisiana Infantry ? I have been doing some research on this as well. I have been looking for my 5th grandpa James Jones, who was born on the exact date March 8, 1818 and he was believed to have died around the same date that you have posted on line on this. But when I seen the Louisiana, it threw me off, cause my grandpa was born in Patrick County VA, and we always heard he got killed at war and ended up buried in VA. But I just wanted to know about this as to me and my cousin it seemed this was our grandpa, and not the one from Louisiana. We did research on the James Jones from Louisiana and found that he went home to live there and he was buried there too and no record of him being buried in VA. Was just curious if you had any more info on this or what not? Please let me know, I would be forever grateful as we want to get to the bottom of this and if it is our grandpa we want to get him a headstone as he doesn't have one. Thank you for your time.
My email is if you can please contact me back. Thank you so much!

Compared to the other three, this one is a Bridge Too Far based on what I have so far.
