Bio Photo Born 1947 in Atlantic City Hospital. Egg Harbor City (EHC) schools and Oakcrest High School. Graduate of University of Dubuque (C'1970) BS Chemistry. Retired NJ State Police Forensic Scientist Supervisor (Drugs and Toxicology) June 2012; current member American Chemical Society, and Society of Forensic Toxicologists, and former member Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Scientists, President of the EHC Historical Society and Roundhouse Museum (see our Facebook page). In 2010, completed a book on early Egg Harbor City for Arcadia Publishing and selected "Citizen of the Year in appreciation for service to our community". EHC cemetery entries have reconciled FindAGrave files with the records of the City Clerk. The EHC Historical Society has a spreadsheet of the original 8 blocks of the cemetery and digital copies of the Block/Section maps. We still get requests from families whose records indcated interment here, but no records can be found. There are also many headstones not recorded in the Clerk's records, which apparently are not complete between 1860 and 1900.

Family (Cavileers & Maxwells) in the Atlantic/Burlington County area since 1700s.
Married Patricia A. O'Brien (Longmeadow, MA). Two sons: Mark Jr., James; two grandchildren.

In OCT2014, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. On 12OCT2015 I underwent an autologous stem-cell transplant at Jefferson Hospital. I am undergoing a maintenance chemotherapy that will be 24 x 21-on-7-off sequences of Revlimid ending in 2018. Spring 2016 has enabled me to return to most of my former activities, including Find-A-Grave, but travel distances are still limited to about 60 miles from home.

Among my family trees are:

Anyone who wants to use my info/photos for personal/family use GO AHEAD. Any others, just add a credit line below it.

Before you ask me to change an "unknown" birthdate to one that you calculated, know your degree of uncertainty. To change a year, the age on the headtone must include years AND months. Without both the uncertainty is +/- one year and will not be changed.

Please note: I do look at corrections sent to me, just not always the day you send it.

Hello. Just researching some of my Lorah roots. Is the memorial #19423397 a duplicate of memorial #120970469?

Spanish American War
RE: S-A War veterans
I only see a George Krieg as a NJ SAW veteran, but these records are often difficult to find. I have forwarded your inquiry to Jim McAteer who might be better able to help you. Good luck.

RE: thomas Harris, Jr.
Without a memorial number, I have no idea who you are talking about. Sorry.

RE: Griesemer family
Yeah one of my lines is Griesemer but I am not a Bertolet so not sure how to spell it. The names seem to change spellings as they get anglicized.
