Sorry to say, that after two days of searching I was unable to find this grave. I understand how important it is to get correct information on similar names. This cemetery has lots of stones that are broken and piled in the back, have been grown over or are unreadable. I hope you are able to find another way to get the information you are searching for.

RE: Holley family Woodmen of the World insurance
Sorry my answer won't help you. For some reason William Jackson Holley, George's son, kept his original policy (sure it was dated 1901 but don't have it handy right now) and fortunately my mother-in-law, his only granddaughter, also kept it.

My mother-in-law, Georgia, (named after George Holley) was very very close to her grandfather, Will. In the early 1940's she did a genealogy project in high school, so that's probably why the policy was never trashed and she kept it.

I just got back from the cemetery, and unfortunately, did not find Henry Westmoreland....I looked in 3 different places to no avail.
I'm sorry he isn't at Camellia,

Thanks so much for the transfer of this cousin. I added what I could and connected to parents.

Thanks again,

I am NOT related or don't have any connections. I do newspaper obituary research to try to link families together. Thanks for checking, though, and thanks for all you do to promote family genealogies.

RE: Thomas Verlon Benedict
Tommy and my brother Kurt were best buddies, they died together in a terrible car accident in 1986. I would like to manage Tommy's memorial if it's fine with you. The Benedict and Kueteman kids went to school together, I kept in touch with Tommy's older brother Joe.

Best regards,
Karl Kueteman

RE: John Craig
Thanks for replying! As I've found in several other occasions, obviously the obituary had the incorrect date - I think even my grandfather had some incorrect info on my grandmothers's death record and that was just in 2002. I'm not related and was not the person who put up the other memorial, just happened to notice there were two memorials. Appreciate the reply, and if I didn't say so before, thanks for your service to our country, appreciate what our folks in uniform do every day to keep us safe.

John Craig
Although your memorial was entered first, his birth year is incorrect, at least according to his obituary (which of course could be wrong). He was 67 when he died, so he would have been born in 1893. (Anniston Star 1/6/61) His full name was John Melvin Craig.
