The first person I looked up on FAG had two comments on it that were untrue and insulting. I felt bound to respond. I looked up others and felt it right to put in positive and helpful comments that would help readers to appreciate those who have gone before in the journey of life.|
I think this is a very good site. Thanks to all who have worked positively on it. The Bible quotations are from J.N.Darby's Translation.(I have put the Lord where it should be Jehovah in some instances,in case some might think I was a J.W.) I pray that they are appropriate and that they might be a comfort to those who read them. May God bless them all.
As I look at these stones many express Hope in the Resurrection of the bodies of the Saints by the Lord Jesus when He returns. Do not be Left behind at the Rapture. Read 1 Thessalonians 4 v13-18; in your Holy Bible.
When I say unto the wicked. Wicked man thou shalt certainly die: and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Ezekiel 33 v8
If anyone would like to use a photo or adopt a memorial, they are welcome. The photos are often taken in a hurry, I do not have much time. If any verse is thought to be inappropriate, I will change it. Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who said,"I have five brothers...earnestly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment."

|SB||Berryman photos at St Austell|
I have taken some photos of a gravestone for John P Berryman and 2 of his daughters (Mary Louisa and Ellen).
(PS I think he had another daughter - Emily - my interest in her made me take the photos)

|Peter Arnesen||Grace Eddy, Matthew Hollow, and Elizabeth Bottrell in St. Senara|
David -- Grace Eddy (128816320), Matthew Hollow (128814721), and Elizabeth Botterell (128814859), whom you were kind enough to memorialize on Find-a-Grave, are my great great grandparents -- being the grandparents of my maternal grandmother, Alma Maud (Eddy) Judd. Accordingly, I'd be deeply grateful if you could transfer management of their memorials to me. In addition, I'd appreciate it if you would give me permission to use the photographs that you took of the Hollow and Eddy memorial tablets in memorials that I intend to create in Find-a-Grave for Grace's husband and for other Hollows and Eddys. -- Peter Arnesen (49303089)

David, I want to thank you for the photos of the Barratt markers at St. Wynwallow's. All are my rellies.
- Do you live near there?
- Re the transcription for the Rev. Herbert Osborn Barratt, is it possible for you to correct the spelling from Osbourne?
- At the edge of the photo of George Barratt's (my paternal g-grandfather) marker, there appears to be another Barratt grave, possibly a child's?? Do you have a full photo of that grave?
Again, thank you for your efforts.

Just noticed one of my ancestors graves - on the photo you can see a really faint n at the end of Bawde, she's really a Bawden. :-)
thanks very much for the beautiful photos,

|Elly Hockin||RE: Lobb|
Jane Roll Lobb was Joseph and Rebecca Lobb's daughter!
|John King||RE: Lord Shawcross|
There is an existing location for Jevington churchyard in which there are already six graves on this site. While Jevington is close to Eastbourne, it's a very rural location and certainly isn't part of E'bourne. I supplied the photo of the church there today too.
I hope this helps.
