Most of the memorials I've posted are for family members (although I also photographed most of Goodrich Cemetery in Linn Co, KS). If you copy a personal family photo, giving credit would be appreciated. This gives other researchers a reference if they have questions. If you have additional info or are related, I would love to hear from you. Thank you to all who have taken the time to add flowers and photos.

*Please use the Edit option if you would like me to add links or additional information. When sending edits, please include your source so that I can document the change. Thanks!

Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you respond.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.
