Bio and Links
Bio Photo My added vs. managed memorials difference is quite large because I manage many memorials transferred to me from an inactive member. I work daily on those to add and correct information but there are many yet to do.

I do not link to "unknown" burial memorials as disposition should be known before adding a memorial and Find A Grave states the burial location should be added within 30 days.

RE: Grandmother Murphy - #38782546
I received from the office at Calvary Cemetery a record of all those buried in Block F, Lot 9. Beside Grandmother - 1904 - East 2 was the Margaret Kinsella. Check to see what info you can find.
Thanks, Linda
P.S. If I had your e-mail, I could send it on to you.

Find A Grave Memorial# 57727259
Hi BjJ:

Thank you for your dedication to Find A Grave.

My stepfather, Ralph Crane Hahn, died July 26, 2016. Ralph Hahn wrote a biography for his great grandfather, Adam Hahn, biography for his mother, Amanda Louisa Crane Hahn, and an autobiography.

Over the 4th of July holiday, I washed & cleaned twelve Hahn tombstones, and the family marker, at Oak Ridge Cemetery Block 18 Lot 89. Subsequently, I set up floral displays and took pictures with my GPS enabled camera. I even saw the B-17 "Sentimental Journey" fly by while I was working.

I created a Find A Grave memorial for Lindsay Ralph Hahn, Ralph Crane Hahn's father. I also added a portrait and tombstone picture to Jennie J. Hahn's memorial. And linked Lindsay Hahn to his mother Jennie Hahn. We believe Lindsay Hahn's father was illegitimate.

Would you be so kind to transfer Jennie J. Hahn's memorial #57727259 to my account? I would like to add her birth date and location, death location, obituary, GPS coordinates, and link her parents, etc. Charles Brown originally created this memorial in 2010.

Thanks,
John

Thank you. When I went back and read it while I was actually awake I see you have the same info as me. If I find anymore I will let you know.

Okay...I remember, I did see that and copied to her familysearch profile. I was hoping there was another Cisna in the mix.
Thanks!

Another thought about Ollie. You can list her maiden name as Cisna, and I guess you might be able to make another note to define her final married name.

Can you tell me who the Cisna is buried in the plot? I am trying to find info for the rest of Ollie's siblings.
Thanks...and let me know what I can do for you!

RE: Ollie Thomas #80810372
Well, your info helps me, so thanks for that.
It makes more sense about Ollie if she is still a "Righter".
I am sure Frank was listed as surname Thomas because he was enumerated one time on a census as "son" instead of step-son.
Is there a way to make a note in the body of the listing to refer to his actual surname and why it is shown as "Thomas"?
Thanks for the great and important work you are doing!

RE: Ollie Thomas #80810372
According to primary sources, Ollie was married first to Elija Jacob Clark in 25 Jan 1900. Frank was born 18 Feb 1903, so his surname is Clark.
She didn't marry Everett Pierce Thomas until 12 May 1911. Her 3rd marriage was to Fredrick William Righter in Dec 1944.
She was running a boarding house in 1940 and Fred is enumerated there in 1940. She is a widow. They married 4 years later. Ollie is Fred's 2nd wife.
She is "Ollie Righter" on the SSDI. Perhaps things weren't too good in that marriage and she decided to be buried with her second husband.
I'm glad you can see who is named close by to the family plot. Who knows where her remains really are. Although, what are the odds she is on the headstone and buried elsewhere? Although, it does happen now and then.
Does this help or confuse?

You're welcome. It wouldn't let me link to her mother after I had already submitted the link to her father, but I just submitted it. Thanks!
