Joseph Balliet
Hi Beverly,
I think you know me, I was in the Milford Historical Society before moving to Virginia. Here is my question: We don't know where Joseph Balliet is buried. His wife, Louisa, his son and his wife, William and Lydia are buried at the top of the hill on the right side, the tall obelisk. Joseph and Louisa moved from Easton to Milford sometime, I think, in the 1850's. My suspicion is Joseph also might be buried there, but never had his name on the stone. Is there a list somewhere of who is buried in the Union Cemetery? How would I find out? Any help might solve this mystery.

Beverly - Thanks so much for taking the photo of the gravestone of William Long Smith in Milford.
Wish I could do my own research for my father's family of Smiths in Hunterdon. William is my 2nd great-great uncle. -Claire Smith Hanson
