Hi all. I've had an interest in family history since I was very young. Following my grandfather's death in 1994, my aunt gave me some of his old records, including a baptismal certificate that was written in Polish. It was then that I began doing some serious research into my Borowski, Schorer, De Lille, and Day family lines. I feel very strongly about remembering and paying tribute to those who have gone before.|
Please take a moment to visit my unforgettable mother:
Marie Constance De Lille Burke
My beloved brother:
Richard Michael "Rick" Burke
Henry De Lille
Elise "Elsie" Day De Lille
John Anthony Borowski
Mildred Mary Schorer Borowski Bowen,
A sincere thank you goes out to all the kind souls who leave flowers and messages on the memorials I've posted here, and also to the many wonderful people who are so willing to voluntarily post photos of my loved ones' headstones. It truly means more than I could ever say.

Hello Mr. Burke. I think something got tangled up here.
Katheryn was the third wife of Loren John Dittemore Dec 1862 - 17 June 1946.
Their son was John Halstead Dittemore b. 1916.
His fathers marriages were to
1-Hattie Waldrip 1 January 1884
2--Edith Fay 13 November 1898
3-Kathryn Vandervort 1909
I have seen all three marriage cert.
Hattie, mother of Lulu Dittemore 14 Oct 1884
Eva mother of Eva Ropche 22 February 1901
Kathryn mother of John Halstead 8 Aug 1914

Do you know if you photographed the marker at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum and Crematory or River View Cemetery ? Thanks for all you do.

Can I ask where you sourced the pictures from of Wallace, please?
Wallace was part of my cousin, Raymond Heron's crew. They both died together.

Thank you James for the Franklin High School graduation photo addition to Ken Goldman's memorial page. He sure resembles my mother's side of the family.
Ken's aunt, my grandmother(Florence Goldman), had the Oregonian newspaper article photo tucked away in her family album but no other photos of him that were identified. He was my 2nd cousin and buried at Calvary Cemetery the year I was born.

I am writing because I want to bring attention to the errors on Catherine's findagrave information. Her birth date is actually 7 January 1871 in Newcastle, Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada. She was baptized in the St.James & St. John United Church of Newcastle and their records of her birth is recorded there. I have other sources to verify her birth. Her father was William Day, not John Day. John was her brother and my great-grandfather. Her mother was Catherine Sturgeon. I have copies of these records. Catherine E. Day Underwood was married to Joseph Anthony Germain on 20 Dec. 1919, in Arizona, and he died 20 December 1929 and is, also, buried in the Greenwood Cemetery but I have been unable to find this on findagrave.com It is recorded on his death certificate. He was buried their on 23 December 1929. I would be very happy to have you transfer these site to me if you would like to. Thank you for all of your work! It means so very much to so many, many people!! I love family history and treasure all of this information! Looking forward to hearing from you!

I was wondering, you added some info on 1st Lt George E. Richards, KIA Korea 1953, and was wondering if you would possibly know if any of his family is still in the area or how I would go about finding them? I have a personal question to ask them about him about where he was stationed, if he was on Okinawa prior to going into Korea. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
