I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.|
Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.
People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.
I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.
My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

|KayMBN||Volens - Memorial# 96371545 Hatzic Cemetery|
Do you have any more info on the Volens? We are looking for Jakob Volen 1866-1958 and wife Hanna 1872-1941. They both died in British Columbia.
Their daughter Hulda Faust is buried same cemetery - Hatzic in Fraser Valley, BC.
Thanks for all your great work on Find A Grave!

Scott, Guy Speer is my 1st Cousin 2x removed - his Grandmother Margaret was my Great Grandaunt. I have quite a bit of Ancestry info I can place into his memorial. Would you mind transferring his memorial to me? I will not remove your name as creator of this memorial. Thanks, Alan

Hi Scott..read your post on David's message board and I think we are related.?? .my Grandma was Frances Ellen Hayes Caetano, memorial # 92022007
Just a heads-up: there are a lot of edits coming down the pike from one who does not want to use a name. Be careful when accepting as upon checking we have found a good number to be incorrect or invalid. Kind regards.

Thank you for getting back to me Scott. I will be in touch with the cemetery. Take care.
|David Cliborne||RE: Hayes|
Hi Scott... yes we are related. sorry... but I am sick with flu right now and can't get into my genealogy documents to tell you the exact relationship. I went to the doctor today and when I feel better in a couple days and will research it let you know the exact relationship. Right now I have to get back on the couch. Thanks for the return message.
