In 2007 when searching for Kocinski headstones, I decided to document old cemeteries on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Below are the current list of cemeteries I have completely documented.
St. Adalbert's Cemetery on Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, Carrick, Pennsylvania started May 2007 and finished November 2007.
--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Adalbert's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after May 2007, may not be listed.
St Josephat's Cemetery on Glass Run Road, Pittsburgh (Baldwin), Pennsylvania started April 2009 and finished May 2009.
--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Josephat's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after April 2009 may not be listed.
Loretto Cemetery on Devlin Street, Pittsburgh, South Side, Pennsylvania started in May 2009 and finished August 2009.

Story from contributor Phyllis Seaman-Eckert about her aunt who died at age 2 and burial location:
There are graves down over the hill at the 1st part of the circle. Apparently, many children were buried down there. In fact, we were always able to locate her grave because it was near a rather large above-ground structure for a Spanish or Mexican child.

--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Josephat's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after August 2009 may not be listed.
St Peter's Cemetery on Arlington Avenue, Pittsburgh, Mt Oliver, Pennsylvania started in August 2009 and finished September 2009.

--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Peter's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after September 2009 may not be listed.
St Michael's Cemetery on 18th Street, Pittsburgh, South Side Pennsylvania started in September 2009 and not finished

Michael Jozwiak

I just read the info regarding Michael Jozwiak (29 Sep 1879 - 28 Jun 1930) that was from Terry Weeks. Please remove this information until the correct information is discussed, as it is incorrect and disgraces the memory of my great grandfather, Michael Jozwiak, who was only married to Josephine Klejbach Jozwiak Kudla. There was another Michael Jozwiak who was living during that same time, and I believe that Terry Weeks has confused the two men. If you can have Terry contact me, I believe we can correct the matter.

Thank you in advance, and you or Terry may contact me via under the name My_Family_Finder, or my personal e-mail:

Kindest regards,
Carol Sommers Shulman

HI, I did add the pictures of the gravestones for Frank & Lydia, but I think you have to add them to Mt. Hope Cemetery in Pittsburgh. I Can't.
Thanks, Connie

Frank & Lydia Cerchiaro
Hi Roseanne,
I have been adding gravestone pictures to people buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa (Penn Hills)off Frankstown Rd. I took the pictures of the gravestones of Frank #135596054 and Lydia #135596117 Cerchiaro. You would need to add them into this cemetery since you made their memorials.
Sincerely, Connie

Memorial Duplication

In doing some research for our family, I have been trying to figure out some mysteries surrounding a great aunt, Josephine Wisniewski. There are two memorials at St. Stanislaus, both added by you, and I think you may have accidentally duplicated something.

In 2010, you added memorial #48573878 for Jozefa Wisniewski, who died on March 16, 1935. (This is in the section where many of St. Stanislaus Kostka's records were lost; you entered the plot as Row 18 north, stone 3. I know that it's a marker shaped like a cross). In 2017, you added memorial #175171530 for Josephine Wisniewski, who died March 16, 1935. I was confused by the duplication on Find A Grave because I could find no record for this grave in the burial records online for the Diocese of Pittburgh. So I called the cemetery office and they confired that St. Stanislaus has no record of a grave for Josephine Wisniewski, only one for Jozefa. I believe you may have mistakenly added the information for the second grave from the death certificate, not from information copied from an actual headstone. I'm sure you know there's often a discrepancy between the information on an old death certificate and the headstone placed on the grave.

Please correct the duplication as soon as possible, and thank you for your help.
