Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a professional photographer in Cape May New Jersey USA. For about 26 years I was a musician also, and had a band called the "Washington Street Band" for two years, and "Southwind" for twenty four. Stopped playing when the photography business expanded. I used to take vacations in Ireland and photograph megalithic tombs, some of which were like works of art. I guess what I add here is the logical progression of that photography. Since 2001 my work has extended to the National Marfan Foundation (www.marfan.org) to whom I volunteer services. The attached photo was taken by Jonathan Barkat and appeared in Business Week Magazine. Thanks John!

Yes - it was discovered that the marker at the mission was a cenotaph and I confirmed his burial at Greenwood. Thanks

Army of Northern Virginia Monument
Tim,

I am authoring a book re: the direct descendants of Lt. Gen. Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. Jackson's daughter, Julia, was honorary guest at the unveiling of the monument to the Army of Northern Virginia in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, 1881. I seeking your permission to use the image in my book. It this would be possible, please let me know how I should credit the photograph.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This suggestion was rejected as being in the wrong field when I mistakenly sent it in the "Marker inscription," thinking that I had clicked "other correction." I think I had confirmed that the grave beside his is indeed his wife's.

He was recently widowed when my father was sationed in Cape May in 1940, and he lived with his son at his parents' home two doors away from his oen homwe while we rented it unril the outbreak of WWII and my father's transfer. He was Mayor of Cape May and his father and family owned the newspaper.

The T M Hand memorials
Being right there in Ape May you should be in better position than I to check my submissions, If you happen to contact Tom Hand he mat remember me although we have had no contact since My family left Cape May in February 1942. He and his father lived in his grandparents' house two doors from his father's, which my family rented from them after his mother died and we arrived in town, and he and I were in 5th grade and started 6th together andc wee both altar boys at the Church of the Advent, with a summer location in the middle of town and another winter location separate.
