I cannot see my prior message to you, but yes I'm a direct descendant of Jacobus James Deyo! He is my 5x great grandfather... so that makes you a cousin! :)

RE: Samuel & Abigail [Allen] Seabury
You are very welcome. I try to sponsor direct ancestors when they are not already sponsored. It is my way of honoring those who came before and made us what we are. They are my 8g uncle and aunt. Linne

Yes, I'm related to the Mallery family. My grand mother was Florence Esther Mallery. We have emailed before and you have access to my Bath Stafford family tree. My user name is mlstafford1 and you've used some of my pictures as I think I've used some of your Deyoe pictures. I have come across a few pictures that I would like you to look at. I believe one is Ann Seabury and her daughter Esther Ann. If you would just email me I would be happy to send them to you.

RE: Pauline Van Pay
Yep, enjoy cemetery walk programs here and elsewhere. Have done Arlington, a cemetery in New Orleans, 2 in Green Bay and even one in Germany. Talk about an education! Do you know about the Jewish tradition of placing a hand-written note on a gravestone with an actual stone on top? And sometimes they just leave a let their departed loved one know they came to visit. Learned this in Germany in '78. Go figure! Appreciate you being open to whatever makes it easier for loved ones to connect with people passed-on. Wouldn't make a fuss about the surname spellings except Find A Grave only accepts them one way and doesn't recognize possible differences. Name genealogy? Been at this almost 40 years. Found my own surname spelled 20 different ways in records...finally stopped counting. Found their ship record by accident...while searching for another family name. It happens! Thanks for all you do for!

There is a book titled The New Paltz Lefevre Family: Descendants of Simon LeFevre, Patentee of New Paltz, New York. It is written by Ann LeFevre Gilchrist 2003. It may have the info you seek. Available in the Library of Congress and perhaps Amazon.

RE: Pauline Van Pay
Interesting that you'd contact me today. Am meeting with the cemetery sexton tomorrow afternoon to look at (for the 1st time) the mapping of Holy Martyrs. After our meeting, am hoping to go through all names on, for this cemetery, and use the Edit feature to request Removal for Dupes. Agree 100% that the Memorial #85686484 for Pauline Van Pay (1893-1963) should be the only one listed. Have worked with Daniel Allen in the past and find him to be totally in agreement with what needs to be done...with Dupes. Not sure why gretakrehbiel #48854582 placed a 2nd Pauline on, but have a feeling it was the spelling...using a space or not using a space after the "N". I deleted my photos from Memorial #153546409 and used the Edit feature to request removal of this Dupe. Usually takes a couple of days...and (I believe) contacts gretakrehbiel. Anything else I can help you with?
