Thanks for the offer but my DNA is already up on Ancestry. I've seen yours on there too. On Ancestry I use my maiden name along with the last name so on there I'm AmyMetzgerHunt if you want to look it up.
Thanks! Hope you all are well.

Can you please take the photo you added to Dorothy L. Adams memorial off. Dorothy is not the woman in the photograph. The people in the photograph are my grandparents, Ellanora Virginia Adams Minnick and Daniel Leslie Minnick. I think you do have a photograph of Dorothy in your genealogy database. I would love to see it on here. I think it's the only one that exists since she died when she was just 12 years old.

Charles R. Coleman, Sr. was my 2nd great grandfather, through his daughter Mary Belle. I note you have photographs of him but they're all thumbnail size. Is there any way I can get them in a larger size?

I was wondering if Are You related to the Grimes Family in Linn County Ks. & Bates County Mo. ? They were originally from Virginia . Thank You J. Cox
|Sylvia Lewis||Re: Grimes and Miller|
Malon Taylor Grimes married Mary Elizabeth Miller.Her father was Christain Vernon Miller.Christain married Martha Ann Gosnell.I have tin type pictures of them.Mary Elizabeth had a brother that married Margaret C. Grimes,daughter of Levi Grimes who married Julie Ann Welker.Maggie,s father was Levi Grimes,His father was Wilson Grimes who married Catherine Fogle.They lived in the same area in Frederick Co..I beleive that the two Grimes families must have been related back to the first William C. Grimes.My grandfather had a picture of the grave of Wulliam c.Grimes that he took in the 1960,s.Christain Miller was my great-great-grandfather,His son, Samuel H. Miller was my great-grandfather who married Margaret C. Grimes.Mary Elizabeth Miller was my great-great-Aunt. Sylvia Miller Lewis
Bill, Let me check into that. You should be listed as a family member now and I sent you an invitation to my family tree quite some time ago when we originally talked about it. Let me send the invitation again and see what happens.

Hi again Bill,
I have you on the family tree now! Yay! I got most of the rest of the Grimes Family added last night. I think all but the most recent generation which I will work on. I also added a few photos of my husband and I and our kids to the family website as well as a photo of my grandfather's parents. We are currently going through setting up a new printer/scanner that is wireless and so far it's having trouble communicating with my laptop, which is where I store all my photos. I have a few additional photos of my mother and her parents with some of her older siblings that I'd like to scan and get on the website soon and I have a copy of the 1892 photo of the Six family house that shows W.F. Six and his wife and children standing out in the yard. The photo was taken before my great grandmother, Nora Pauline Six, their youngest was born so she is the only one not pictured. I did add a modern picture of the house from roughly the same angle as the 1892 photo and a picture of the Street sign.

I still haven't been able to see the photo of William and Joanna Grimes Adams on Find a Grave. If you get a chance to add them I'd really love to see it.

That is no problem at all. You are welcome to use my name anytime. It was nice to see the new photos that were added. I'd never seen any pictures of Aunt Mary when she was young and I can't believe how much her daughter Shirley looked like Shirley's daughter Sharon as a little girl. I'd really love to find out if any of them have a photo of Dorothy Adams. She died when she was 12 or 13 and when I was little all the women at the Adams family reunion in Middletown used to make over how much like her I looked. I've always wondered if maybe Lois has some good photos as her mother was the oldest daughter in the family. I would imagine that is how she has the photos of the grandparents. My grandmother was the youngest so I'm not sure there was much left in the way of old family photos to go around by the time they got to her.

I wasn't interest in contacting Lois, I just really wanted to see the photos of William and Joanna since these are my Great Great Grandparents and I've never seen any photo of them ever before and I didn't see the photos on Find a Grave. I was worried I wouldn't remember my login on your website but I did. It was great to see the picture and the others with the Routzahns and Farleys. Sharon and I are about the same age and still talk occasionally. I do have maybe 2 pictures of my mother and her siblings when they were little that I'll need to find and scan in.
