RE: Stockwell family
Correct. Honor Harmon had 2 sons (Robt Williams and Joseph Stockwell). Robt married Arminda Woodard and they had my mother and her 5 siblings. Does the name Dema Woodard "ring any bells", she was born in MO but may have moved to AZ near other Stockwell people. Dema was my mother's first cousin and I'm attempting to find out further info about her but have reached "a solid brick wall". Many Stockwell people (along with Dema's parents) moved to the Phoenix, AZ area. I've kept your phone #, so perhaps we can chat at some point after the new year. Thanks.

Stockwell family
Not sure I've ask you before, but does the surname WOODARD "ring any bells" for you. They are connected the Stockwell people from MO & AZ.

James Stockwell
I've been doing some digging since your first email and found that James' actual name was Silas James Stockwell. That name seems to be verified by several other Stockwell people, although another bit of info shows his name as James M. Stockwell (on Honor's request for widow's benefits due to his service during the Civil War). By this time she is married to Asa Pilkinton. I do not subscribe to so would be unable to view James' will. I've found, through years of research, that it is VERY difficult to obtain old divorce records. I've only been successful 1 time and that was for my grandmother, my father's mother. It took me months and months of searching to actually find my connection to the Stockwell line. My ONLY clue was from a cousin in MO who told me that my grandfather (Honor first son) had "a half brother named Joe" . . . that turned out to be Joseph Stockwell. If you checked out Honor's memorial page, you read that she died of TB. Are you familiar with the Old State Hospital #3 in MO. Today it is a rehab facility but for years it was a facility for the mentally ill with a separate wing for those with TB, like Honor. It's VERY difficult to obtain records for those long ago patients, as many were "lost". I had a great aunt at that facility too, and was able to obtain her old medical records but it took "a bit of hard work". I won't go that route again.

RE: James M. Stockwell
Honor Harmon was my great grandmother. If you check Find A Grave under "Honor Pilkinton" you will find all the info I have on her. She apparently was "quite a lady". :) I'm assuming then that she divorced James Stockwell. Have you found a divorce degree . . . as stated on her memorial page, she also divorced #3. I still feel that #1, my great grandfather died. How are you related.

James M. Stockwell
I saw your posting for James M. Stockwell Find A Grave #152716953 buried in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. I'm looking for a James M. Stockwell who also died in MO in 1888, birth year 1827. These two men might be the same person although I have my James Stockwell married to another woman. Do you have any further info on your James Stockwell. Thanks.

Jessie F. Henry Thomas tombstone
I see you took the photo of Earl's headstone and placed it on his memorial. I wonder if you still have it, would you mind putting the same photo on Jessie's memorial #145900321, found at this link Jessie was Earl's first wife. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
