Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Texas and am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Robert E. Lee Camp #239 and the Order of Confederate Gray Honor Guard as well as working with the SCV Graves Registery.
I am interested in all aspects of Graveyard, Gravestone care and cleaning and Family history. I enjoy finding those long lost forgotten graveyards. Special attention always given to our Confederate Veterans.

Lee May - Macdonia Cemetery
Hi: Do you have any more info about Lee May. I have been to Macedonia twice and taken all the May stone photos, but have never found Lee.
Look on web site called - go to Macedonia cemetery - see what you think. I get that way about twice a year.
Hey, I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy - unusual - I joined the Nathan Bedford Forrest Chapter in Cicero, Indiana. Unusual I know since my husband and I live in Tennessee, but out roots are in Indiana - my great great grandfathers - Louisiana and Indiana Quaker fought each other at Shiloh. Say what you want, General Forrest had an excellent war record.
Best Wishes,

Killoughs at Mt Zion Cemetery
You noted in your memorial that their stone was broken from base. It has been repaired and I have added new pictures.

RE: Samuel J. May
I am a member of the UDC and have conducted the Iron Cross ceremony here in Tennessee for a sister member who has passed - it was on her bucket list to honor her great grandfather.
I chose to join the Nathan Bedford Forrest chapter in Noblesville, Ind. They are so active and my husband and I are originally from Ind.
Note that I took several May family pictures and put them on the site. Week Christmas, we had a reenactment of the battle of Sugar Creek - not far from me - Sugar Creek was officially the last battle in Tennessee as General Forrest fought to get his men home.
Best Wishes.
