Bio Photo I have a total soft spot for the little one's who have passed on...I guess I can say I love children, living on earth and in heaven too. I honor the men and women who have died serving our country. I respect our elder's who have crossed over, missing their knowledge and wisdom. I have thee utmost love to all that have departed. They will always live on in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Angelo Rossi
Hello,

Have you considered having Angelo Rossi, Findagrave #7623542, added as a famous internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. Once someone is classified as a famous interment the findagrave memorial is usually maintained by findagrave. In order to process this you would need to contact findagrave.

He was quite an important mayor of San Francisco as the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and Treasure Island were built while he was in office as mayor of San Francisco. You can find more information on wikepedia. He was the first mayor of 100% Italian descent of a major U.S. city.

There are two other mayors of San Francisco at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery as well. Joseph Alioto and George Moscone. Both are names in the famous internments. Edmund G. Brown, former governor of California is at the cemetery as well and maintained by findagrave.

I took an interest in Angelo Rossi as there are Italians in my family who came here from Italy in 1882.

Mel, do you have a picture of George Patterson? I was George's friend in Vietnam, and was with him when he was killed. Larry

Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Let me try this again. I was thinking about his father when I wrote this. It's his grandfather's name I'm interested in knowing. I have a picture of Coy, Mildred Gus and Dorthy as children. I have Coy's father as Gus Massey and grandfather was Frank Warren Massey.

~~Thank You~~
I want to thank you for visiting my son Steven's memorial. It is very tough on a parent to lose their child. It's a void so deep, it cannot be explained or felt unless you experienced it first hand. I miss my son and think of him constantly. It feels like someone ripped out your heart but you're still breathing. It's relentless.

Thank you again for visiting. I hope to see you again.
