I was born at Notre Dame Hospital in Lynch Kentucky. I was brought up in Harlan County, Kentucky. I lived there until 1980, at which time, I moved to Lee County, Virginia. I was never told that my paternal Grandfather was from there. I passed by his old home place almost daily for 4 years, without knowing it. I have a great respect for honoring the people who lived before us and contributed to our chosen paths.I am extremely proud of being from Harlan County, Kentucky!! I'm thankful that I lived in Lee County, it gives me a much better perspective in my research.|

I do not delete memorials unless it is a duplicate submitted before the date of what I submit.

You must be clairvoyant! I just transcribed her admission record yesterday.
I have updated her memorial with the new information. Find A Grave Memorial# 42274854.
Please let me know if you want a JPG copy of the admission record (will need an email address) or if you would like the memorial transferred to you.

"Dacanta" just recently transferred some 2000 memorials at Western State to me so that I can complete a long-term project.
I am currently transcribing the admission records held at the Library of Virginia and then posting the data to the bio section of each memorial. Thus far, I have completed 1828 through 1866.
I haven't come across Elizabeth's admission yet but when I do, I will send you the information and a copy of the ledger page the entry was found on. I will need your email address to do this. Please go to my profile page and click on the email address and send me yours.
If Elizabeth was born around 1831, I would assume that I will come across her admission very soon. I average one year of admissions every day. From this record, you should get, patient number, admission date, age at admission, sex, marital status, previous admission, supposed cause, build, complexion, hair, eyes, occupation, progress of treatment, date of death, and cause of death.

Sorry Shirley, I don,t know. It was just photographing the cemetery. I sure wish you luck in finding out tho. Thanks mike.
My father James Edward Lawson Jr was born and raised in Harlan County KY as well. His parents were James Edward Lawson Sr and Wanda Thompson Lawson. I saw you were related to the Ferrells as am I. I have just recently began to trace my family tree and have really discovered a lot of great information. I love knowing about my past and where I came from and hope to pass this knowledge down to my daughter when she grows up.
Transferred Dillard & Oakie Williams to you! Will let you make the links for Jerry. I posted several other Williams' if you need those also please let me know and I will send them on to you
