Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, my name is Lora and I enjoy researching and learning about my family. For the most part my family locations are in Lincoln County, West Virginia (Lucas and Miller) and Franklin County, Pennsylvania (Monn, Calimer and Riley). As I travel across the country, I've managed to photograph a few other cemeteries. Please feel free to let me know of any corrections and/or additions that need to be made to any of the memorials I've added as well as any requests for ownership for family member memorials. I will be happy to transfer them. While it's rare, at times a family member may not wish to have a loved one's memorial and/or photo's online. If at any time someone runs across a memorial or photo that I have added but doesn't wish it there, please let me know and I will remove it.

Dear Lora,
This is a bit late, but I would once again like to thank you for transferring ownership of my father's Find A Grave to me. I appreciate that you posted it originally.
Thanks so much!
Kind regards,

Monn book
Hi Lora,
Many years ago you sent me computer files of a book on the Conrad Monn Sr. family. It had six chapters and was written by a David Monn, I believe. I was wondering if you could send me the correct authorship information on this book. Thanks,
Linda Sander

RE: Octavia Rupe Rock
Lora,
I have little information on the Rocks. My second great grandmother was Octavia Roop, who married Henry A. Rock. They lived in Giles County. Many years ago, my mother took me to relatives in Giles County, where we also visited Octavia's gravesite.

If you'd like to stay in touch, you can email me at brendafarhan@gmail.com.

Thanks for contacting me.

Noah Ray Burns
I would like to talk with you about Noah Burns. I was going to make a new cemetery and post his name, but then I found him in Burns Cemetery in Hamlin with about 20 others that had markers. This is the same Noah I was going to post, but he is not in the Burns Cemetery in Hamlin. His marker is up on a hill above Big Creek and he has the only marker in the cemetery. The land was owned by the Burns family so that may be why he is listed as buried in the Burns Cemetery. There are around 10 (give or take a few) graves there, only marked with rocks, except for Noah. I am confident this Burns Cemetery is not on Find A Grave yet and that is why I was going to make a new one. I do not know yet who the other people buried there are, but was told they are all Burns. Very possible his parents, Taylor and Malinda, are two of the graves marked with rocks. I will still make the cemetery and then let you know so you can move him to the correct location. Have a photo of the stone but its on a tiny flip phone and not good enough to post.

Spring Hart
What facts did you find?
Hi my name is Spring Hart. I've been working on my family tree. The reason I started searching for information on my family history is because if Lynn D Bartle. He was my father. He died when I was very young. There has been very little I can find on him, except the grave site and the fact that you created it. Anything other has been wiped away, almost like he never existed. No birth, schools, Or family records. Not even the small newspaper Sarticle on the night he and his partner in crime John Day died from a shoot out with metro police as they were fleeing from the 7 eleven bar they just attempted to rob. I read it once as a child, my mother had it. But now outs gone. Anyways I'm just curious if there was anything you know about my father, or who had you create the memorial site on here. I would just like to know a little about him and what nationality or heritage he comes from. Maybe a little about his family and siblings. All I know is his mother was a bartender and my mom loved him. Please if you can tell me anything I'd appreciate it.
Thank you

RE: Etta Miller
Thanks for responding....some people get really upset....The difference in the given and middle name is why you had not found it when you did your memorial. Only a Bias would realize they were one and the same. Have a super day, Carrie

Frank Smith
Hi,

I am researching Ancestry.com trying to find my grandfather Frank Smith. He was a fair skinned african american who passed away in Nevada in the 70s. He was once married to Dorothy Smith and together they had 3 children. Would your Frank Smith be my grandfather? R
