Bio Photo Currently researching Historic Riverside Cemetery Denver - adding plot info to exisiting memorials and adding missing memorials with photos if and when available.
My Nebo - Aurora, CO - All sections walked and memorials added as of Dec 2014, continue to add memorials and photos.

I am a Records and Archives Manager as a profession, therefore I WORK full time as well as patient with your requests, as I will get to the as soon as possible. Correction requests are reviewed PRIOR to my accepting them (its just not automatic).....don't get me wrong...I truly appreciate any help....after all, isn't this a TEAM effort???!!

I volunteer my time to help complete and document the histories and information of our cemeteries and graveyards. In my many walkings and wanderings... I have noticed the many missing records and photos from the Find A Grave site. I will be working to help correct those missing memorials

I will transfer memorials as requested to family members, so please don't hesitate to ask for any transfers.
I'm very happy for a loved one to care for their loved ones memorial!!!

If I mess up or do something incorrectly, please remind me gently, so I can make any corrections , as we all make mistakes...
Don't be a stinker and DEMAND or berate...there is not a need for that kind of behavior on this site.
I am very happy to make those corrections, but I will NOT be harassed, and you will be reported to F.A.G

Should a family member wish to have a grave stone photo removed or a memorial removed for privacy concerns, please, please...let me know. I do not want to offend or cause any issues for anyone. Again, this does take a bit of don't freak out if I don't respond "Johnny on the spot" actions.

Thank to all volunteers on F.A.G....this is how I was able to locate "missing" family members...some that I never had the honor to meet.

Grandma Opal
Thank you so much for finding my grandmother's burial site this morning. I think I lucked out that you answered the phone when I cold-called the cemetery.
I made a memorial for her, I am adding our family now. You are my hero!

Hi Robin! Thanks for sending the grave location information for them. It is always great to have that on the memorial. Just wanted to double check with you about the lot number-- you sent both lot 255 and lot 2555. Probably just a typo, but wanted to check with you before I add the information. Would you take another look and let me know? Thanks!

Hilda Frederickson @ Fairmount
Hello, regarding Hilda Frederickson at Fairmount, she took a long time to track down but I finally found and photo'd her yesterday. Didn't realize my claim time ran out. It's totally up to you, but if you want me to fulfill the photo I can. :) She was in a block (96) with all the flat markers.

RE: Herbert L McGalliard - Riverside Cemetery/Denver
Hi Robin,

Thank you very much for looking into this and sending copies of the documents. It's a very strange case with contradictory evidence. One possibility is that the family first had him embalmed for burial in Denver, then decided he should be cremated so the ashes could be sent home to New Jersey / Pennsylvania. Anyway, since I have no information about where he wound up, I'm going to delete the memorial.

I really appreciate your nice work here, going the extra mile to help me out!

All the best,

RE: photo request for Irwin Appelbaum
Thanks, but I think I have everything I need. I was able to find a picture of the grave on another website after I had submitted the request to Find A Grave. They were old family friends from way back, wonderful lovely people.

RE: Herbert L McGalliard - Riverside Cemetery/Denver
Hi Robin,

Thank you very much for informing me that the cemetery records show Herbert was cremated. The problem is that his estate records include a receipt for embalming, a casket and a hearse. There is also a charge to Riverside Cemetery. So I'm wondering if the cremation notation might be incorrect.

Do you know of a way to access archival copies of the Denver newspapers, to see if his obituary gives an interment location?

Appreciate your help,
