As long as we remember our ancestors in our hearts, they are always with us.....|
Even though they are in a different place, they are still a part of our lives, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us.

Thank You and
I would love for you to visit my memorial dedicated to John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

Actually, I missed it too. I will try to get a better photo, of the text, next time I am at Kerrs Cemetery.

Thank you for posting the information about Blanche.
We have been trying to verify the month and day of her birth and would be grateful if you can tell us where you found it.

It's only because I was researching from the other direction that I even noticed. I had this Fietta because I have Schwalms in my tree but not Schlegels or Snyder. I do have the Bohner/Bahner family however and realized it just didn't quite match when I started saving it.
Thanks for the corrections

I have removed the documents you requested.

Thanks for that delete info. I didn't know that. Also, I know what you mean about going through the administrator. I am going through that now as I am trying to help a lady get a correction made on a memorial created by a volunteer who has disappeared and doing no edits. So, thanks again for the feedback.
|Paul Rolfe||RE: Loucks in Walnut Hill Cemetery|
There is an office in the Walnut Hill Cemetery and they have a book (nearly 500 pages) with an alphabetical list of all burials in the four Walnut Hill Cemeteries (i.e. Cedar Lawn, Memorial Park, Ridgewood, and Walnut Hill); it is updated annually. The up-to-the-minute data is in the computer in the office. The public library also has a book but it has not been updated for about a decade - still good for most findagrave look-ups. Fortunately, I still had my notes on the Loucks. They are all in Walnut Hill section 01, lot 009. Sarah in grave 1, George in 4, Alice in 10, Charles in 11, then it showed Mrs. George in 3 (?) and Henrietta in 2 (?). No grave number was shown for Mary but her lot is the same - lot 009. The old records have a number of glitches so one would have to go to the cemetery office and find out the actual layout in the old plot maps. Also, for your future use - you could have deleted the duplicate record instead of transferring it back; the delete link is beside the transfer link at the top right of the memorial and whoever is the manager can utilize it. As always, I am happy to help.

GREAT! You are really helping a lot of people, and I bet you only know of a tiny fraction of the grateful people. Keep up the terrific job, it is appreciated! Luella
Thank you for picking up my edits today. That was most of an afternoon of work. I keep finding more branches of my tree and more relatives around Brock. I always wondered which Hauptman Fanny Green married. Fanny was my grandpa Charlie's 2nd cousin. Arthur was the brother of Ernest. Ernest married Charlie's mother-in-law, Anna Fass Rockemann. 2nd marriages for Authur and Anna. after their first spouses died. It is a small world. Hope you are well and busy.

Kathy you are truly a BLESSING! That is the right one, and I found the article, it was in the Thur. Apr. 28, 1904 paper! So perfect match! I have a niece who married a Bowen, so was trying to follow all the lines, I'm sure they connect with hers, but can't prove it YET! :)Luella

Great I think it will get posted! And great find with the one twin too, the "Smith" can be a bit of a challenge, but some day maybe! Happy Valentine's Day to you too Kathy!
