Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 75 years old (DOB:1941) and have been doing genealogy for about 30+ years. I am a native of Sacramento, CA (4th generation from that area). I was really happy to learn of "Find A Grave" website. Hope to contribute more and to obtain control of several others whom are already listed but without complete and/or correct info and then link them to others in the family.

Hi there, thanks for not being mad! I need the grave transferred to me, I just happened to look her up because I found a photo of her and wondered about her. Thanks! Pam

votax vs. votaw
Hi there, I think there may have been a spelling mistake on Mrs. Votaw's grave? ( Find A Grave Memorial# 133374071) I don't want to sound critical but She was married to Heber Votaw. She is a famous person as you know, here is her wikipedia entry. All of records on are for Votaw. I just want her ancestors to be able to find her! Thanks!

Rev. Stephen J. Pitman, NH
Carol, do you know if the above Stephen Jefferson Pitman, 1808-1876, and his wife, Olive F. Pitman, 1812-1909, are buried in Blossom Hill Cemetery where 3 of their sons, John, William, and Oscar V. are interred?

I've looked and can't find S.J. and Olive, listed anywhere, even though he died at Concord? Any help appreciated. winnie

So much for writing me back, and I'm thankful too that you understand the dilemma. I will look into it further I promise. I would like to complete the entry- with as correct information as possible. I added the varying birth years on the page itself. Hope you feel well soon. :)

Hi, Could you send your source(s) for his birth date? I have received birth dates via edit suggestions that are all different. I am attempting to determine which is accurate.
Please send through "any other suggestion" in the automated edits from his memorial: Thanks

Martha Derrick Sandel
If Martha died in Placer County you might want to check with the Placer County Recorders office.

I'm going through the Placer County Hospital Records right now, I will be posting new memorials for awhile. Keep checking in Placer county and maybe someone will show up that is related to you.
