I believe that FindAGrave serves as a tremendous genealogical resource and that to do so is not in concert with my genealogically oriented FindAGrave comrades. My work is my gift to posterity and, one day, I will be honored to appear at this site.
Concerning Transfer Requests: Other than Civil War Veterans (who I do not transfer) ~and~ my direct ancestry, be your relationship vague or distant, if you are committed to improving upon one, not just collecting it, please feel free to request a transfer using the SAC/EDIT feature. *****BUT***** If your bio is exclusionary and copyright laden, I'll surely adopt your policy in responding.

Thanks so much for sending me the correct location of my uncles grave
|Gregory Harbin||Thank You|
Thank you for adding a picture of my great aunt Emily "Emy" Strawn Tunnell. I never met her but heard a lot about her from her brother Ray Strawn my GF. I could also hear the sadness in his voice of knowing he would never see her again as she and her husband had moved to California many years before. It was wonderful to see what she looked like and to see the family resemblance. Thanks again. Greg

Thank you for your help regarding the transfer of my grandparents, and for all the time you have put in with my family members, placing them on the site, and making sure they are properly linked to other family members. Thats a real kindness you have done for me, my family, and many others. You help the memory of many people live on. I appreciate it, and thank you!

Just found your question about Abraham Mumper. I actually have portraits of both he and Mary (Molly) Lerew Mumper. I actually made a mistake and added one too many Greats, he is my 3 times Great Grandfather. A couple of his children are not listed on Find-a-Grave. Jemima who married a Majors and my GGGrandmother Rebecca b. 1825. She is buried in Maryland and had four children.
|Liminal Portal||Thank you again!|
I'd like to thank you again for visiting and leaving flowers at my Grammie's Memorial, Thelma Lorraine Hamilton Stilwell (Find A Grave Memorial# 52443745).
It was very thoughtful of you and I really appreciate it.
I live in Northern Ireland now, and I can't afford to go back home to California and leave flowers at her grave myself. The last time I was able to visit her grave was 6 years ago.
You have me in tears with your kindness. Thank you again, Tamytha Hopkins
Thank you for the SAC for Elmer Mumper #122364169. I believe he is the same man listed on memorial #41005692. If so that memorials is incorrect as I have found several sources (including cemetery records for his actual burial) showing him living in Minneapolis after the date you show him as being buried in WV. If you would like to compare notes please send me another SAC with a way to contact you directly rather than on your message board.

|Edgar Allen Pie||Find A Grave Photo Request / Patricia GALLUP|
Hi, I'm happy to fulfill your Find A Grave request to photograph the headstone of Patricia GALLUP at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Because there are more than 100 open requests for this cemetery, please call the cemetery's office at 310-836-5500 and get the specific plot number of the grave--I can't go to their office and ask for the locations of 100+ graves! :-)
Once you've got the location, message it to me and I'll go take the picture as soon as I can.
I will be heading to the cemetery this Sunday so if I get your location information by then, I will be happy to post your photos then.

...and now you inspired me to find Mary Elizabeth Frye as well (the author of the poem on the top of my page). I even added both of their memorial #'s on my page. So glad you came to tell me where Mr. Palmer was, because it's inspired me to do more.

Thank you so much for sending me his memorial! For whatever reason, I had never thought to look up the people who's poems I have used for years. This made me quite happy to be able to leave a note and flowers on his memorial. I would love to know more about him.
