Bio and Links
Bio Photo Seems I have always enjoyed old cemeteries. It is great to have a site that will allow us to create a virtual safeguard for the preservation of old cemeteries. More and more vanish away each day due to erosion, time and just plain "progress".

My husband and myself were very active in military support. We are former members of the SC Chapter of Rolling Thunder, Greg was VP of the Legion Riders and the Jr. VP of the American Legion. He also held office of Commander at VFW Post 9811, where I held office of Jr. VP Ladies Auxilliary.

My husband served two tours of Vietnam. I am very proud of my honey. We live a useful and full filling life.

Update: January and February 2016. Greg has been diagnosed with an inoperable lung cancer. My sweet Greg died last night July 31, at 2 AM. I am slowly working on his memorial.

All contributor's can be contacted via the edit tab. That is the much preferred method of contact as it has links to the memorial in question.

MILITARY DESIGNATIONS: While many do not add them I do honor service and rank.

Any veteran who has served honorably in a time of war may bear the title of the highest grade held during that war. This right is conferred by Congress in law by 10 US Code 772 Section (e)

Do not ask me to link an unknown burial without proof that they were cremated. Cremated has became a drop pocket for unknown burials. Some don't realize cremation is against some religious organizations, parts of my own family included.

Here are the rules regarding unknown burials. REMEMBER, find a grave is a source for burials above all other reasons. Most contributors get really ugly over this but I don't make the rules and there HAS to be a stopping point from unknown burials cluttering the site.

Surely it isn't hard to get an obituary link, a funeral card or a photo of their ashes. I used photo of ashes on two of my family.

In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. A member has thirty days to update the memorial to the correct burial location on recent deaths.

What is Find A Grave?
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
