Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been searching for my family history for over 10 years I started when my father became ill with cancer and we knew he was not going to make it. He would sit and talk for hours about family members I had never heard of so as he talked I took notes and slowly begane my research. My only wish is that he could have lived to see how far that research has come. I hope at least one of my postings will help some one with there search.

Any one interested in transfers of the Perry, James, Hoover, whitis and any related names please contact me as I am no longer working on there lines. I was working on them for a friend and co worker who past away and his family was not interested in any of the information I collected so will transfer any memorial you need.

Beatrice Reed Wilson
Ms. Laird,
First of all, many thanks for all the research you have done on my family. Regarding my great grandmother, Beatrice Wilson, do you have any other pictures of her and her family? I would love to see any that you may have. She was previously married to my great grandfather Adolph Perry, however when she left that marriage and married Robert Wilson, my grandmother did not have any contact with her for years. She never shared any information she knew about her when I would ask her about her mother. I have been searching for my great grandmother Beatrice for years and this has been such a blessing for me to finally see all this information regarding Beatrice Reed Wilson. Please contact me at Thank you!

Memorial #22442439
Cornelius Allen Bivins was my great-grandfather. I see you have his memorial designated Allen Cornelius. Is this the order on the headstone? I know of one census record in which he's listed as Allen C Bivins, but most of the records I know have him as Cornelius Allen. Can you verify which is accurate? Thanks very much.

Alzada James Perry
You have noted that Alzada was a half-sibling to all of her siblings. Will you please provide me with your source for this fact?

Thank you.

Nathaniel Washington Laird

I was delighted to find a portrait on of Keziah Laird Hardin and her husband. Looking closer I discovered that you were the one responsible for the find a grave entry below. I am hoping that because you are a Laird you might know if the man in the portrait is Nathaniel Washington Laird b 1816. I noticed Keziah was married twice.) He is my great grand uncle and I am interested to verify if this is actually him.
Thanks L Allison

RE: Old First Street Cemetery
I would appreciate anything you have on the Careys, Fosters, and McCrackens. They are all related as are the Slaughters
I have written a book (unpublished) about Joel and his family. It is not a bio as I have no way of knowing what his daily life was like. I simply wove a story based on the facts of his life.
