I've been researching my family for a while. My dad is from the South, my mom from the North. It's been an interesting journey.|
Researching the Drake/Eastman/Smith/Cook line on my mom's side, and the Earp/Trent/Buttry line on my dad's side.
If I have put up a profile of your relative don't hesitate to ask me to transfer it, it's yours really. When you ask me to hold onto your family member because you are old or ill, I guarantee you will outlast me. Ask me for the profile before you have to ask FAG for it. I do research when making a profile and will only fill in the info for the difficult finds so the family can find them; all other I leave blank so the family can claim them and fill in their own bio information. I only ask that you don't remove any military information from the profile. I was on a quest to find the veterans buried in Weymouth for the historical society in the past, and had posted whatever I was finding. I believe the people at FAG put connection links on profiles for a reason, so when I hear that somebody is refusing to connect a child because they are "old way" of doing things, or are too lazy to do the research that requires a connection, I will create a link. There is responsibility when creating a profile rather than just the glory of finding them, they are family members. And don't be afraid to use any PHOTOS I have posted here on Find-A-Grave! I would never join a sharing community and then not share.
I don't know why, but people for some reason think I am hiding my name. I can only fit so much in the caption, and when I put Jacki Earp, Weymouth, I was getting questions from people in England. I did something for the Town/City of Weymouth in the past and thought this was important to state I was from Weymouth so I was not representing myself to be an employee of Weymouth, nor a member of the historical society board. For anybody that truly cares, my email name posted is correct. My name is Jacki Earp and I am from Weymouth, Massachusetts. I will never have a second account with a false name to hide my identity, what you see is what you get. I was educated in Legal and Law Enforcement, so I am a fact finding person, and I'm pretty darn good at it.
Letting you know in advance that this is a minion-free zone, --->I<--- am a minion-free zone. The other gravers are finding what you are doing to the profiles... and this means you tagteam. ;) Non-minions know how to leave the message on the profile when they want changes, my email is also available. Minions need to stop spreading the hate on my profile, it scares the family members. To me, you are the bottom of the food-chain and I'm not afraid of you. I really don't have time to deal with your nonsense.
PLS STOP SENDING MY EDITS INTO THE ABYSS.

I ssw your edit to change Martha Stanclift's last name to "Stancliff"....but when I look at her gravestone photo it is Stanclift. I always put what the stonecarver carved (right or wrong as it may be) but I can put a note on her memorial page with your research source as to the discrepancy.
Let me know,

Hi Jacki, thank you so much for catching the date issue. I created those profiles when I first got into genealogy and when I didn't really understand the intention of findagrave. I deleted both of them since they were unsourced burials.
Thank you again for noticing! I always appreciate a good eye on my work.
|Jack Parker||RE: Drakes|
I see you're looking at Drakes, I have half a dozen Drakes to add to Groton cemetery, in the next batch (tonight or tomorrow):
Lillian Drake 1908 - 2007
Mary Anne Drake 1873 - 1967
Archie G Drake 1883 - 1963
Willie A Drake 1854 - 1926 (other stone has birth year as 1851)
Lilla A Drake 1854 - 1935
Feel free to pre-empt me.

Regarding your photo request for Benjamin Bryant in Bristol, Maine at the Herbert Yard; I was recently at the cemetery (which is very small) and there was no stone or remnant/crumbles to be found for BENJAMIN BRYANT d. 1843. No others named BRYANT anywhere in the cemetery either. However, records do indicate that his burial DID occur here in 1843. Scott/Cape Cod
|Alan Eugene Koch||Minnie and Murrell Demo|
Thanks so very much for transferring Minnie and Murrell. The Demo family is an important part of my wife's ancestry.
Best regards, Alan

You sent me edits for Jessie. I agree with her place of birth, place of death and maiden name. I can not find records to support her middle name or month of birth. Can you please send me the sources for those last two items so I may cite them in the bio section?
Jackie, I think my memorial for Catherine is incorrect. The death records show my memorial should have been Catherine Cullen. Not sure where I got that name from, but obviously it's wrong. Should I delete her memorial or change it to your Catherine Cutter. Sorry to cause you trouble.

Jackie, enclosed is the death records showing she was born in Ireland age 43 and died July 25, 1850. Let me know if my memorial is incorrect.
