As a lifetime history buff, and having lived near some old cemeteries, it is only "natural" that the two are now combined.
I've catalogued all the Confederate fallen in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery in Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va. I will soon publish a roster/book with these findings and short bios/service records of these men. A copy will be presented to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Museum.
Also, I'm in the process of doing the same for the Confederate fallen and veterans in the Fredericksburg Confederate and City cemeteries.

As Historian of the above cemeteries, please feel free to inquire of any Confederate burials.
Also, I give tours of each.

The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Park Service refers Confederate burial inquiries to me.

Some of the info I've posted is (c)Historical Data Systems, Inc. @www.civilwardata.com and some from the National Archives.

Please include source(s) for ALL edits. Too many times incorrect edits have been submitted, so I rarely accept non-email edits. THANKS for understanding--

RE: Rev William Nave
I posted your updates -- thanks. Wish I had a picture of him. He was married to my great-great aunt Seraphine Pile.

My mother says there was a large portrait of him that passed down through Billy and Seraphine's daughter Etta Buckles who married George Hargis, and through her daughter Henrietta Hargis Reynolds, nut no one knows where it went after Henrietta died. My mom is checking with her relatives.

Best,

Jim

Info came from a man named Urban Wilson, who has done years of Civil War research. You might be interested in joiming a facebook group where he is a member.

RE: Elisha Meeks
I got the birth year from an on-line family tree of his parents Allen Meeks and Mary Sumner Meeks. This couple -- Allen and Mary -- lost three sons during the Civil War. Other than Elisha there was John Meeks (#9774011) and William Meeks who died at Mechanicsville, VA but I have been unable to locate him on Find A Grave. Perhaps you can help there? I show he was born in 1844.

RE: Mrs. Fitzwater obit
You are welcome. I am glad you find it helpful.
If you'd like to look for yourself, Morgan's document can be downloaded here:
https://eservice.pwcgov.org/library/digitallibrary/PDF/1911-1915%20Death%20Reports%20by%20Breeden.pdf
It is true that it covers only 1911-1915, but those are crucial years because Virginia was not keeping death records during those years.
More digital documents for Prince William Co VA are listed here:
https://eservice.pwcgov.org/library/digitallibrary/
including images of some issues of the other newspaper, The Manassas Democrat.

RE: Capt Thomas W Wilson

I would very gladly share information on Capt. Thomas Wilson, I only know of his parents and siblings that are listed on Find A Grave, I am a descendant of Thomas Wilson his father and can trace that line to my Father Shedrick Wilson.

Again Bless you for your work and for sharing it.
