My ancestors include DODD, HUGHIE, HUGHEY, COOK, HARTLEY, JONES, STANLEY, THORNTON, on my Mother's side. Many of these relatives are buried at Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery near Riverdale, Georgia. I have attempted to photograph ALL grave markers in that cemetery, even though they are not all related to me.|
Ancestors on Father's side include JOHNS, SOI JOW, PARKER, LAIRD, GIBSON, CHAPMAN.
My husband's ancestors include GILLEY, MARSH, HUCKABEE, ROWE, HICKEY, McCLELLAN, FINKLEA and others - most from Arkansas or East Texas

Sue, I'm guessing the connection probably came to you as a "suggested edit" and was entered automatically upon approval. As the person managing Elizabeth Dodd's memorial, you can click on "edit" by her "Family links" and delete William (53438503) and Jeanette ( 53438606) as her parents. I don't have any information on this William Word (53438503) ever being a Captain in the service. There is a Jane among this daughters, however. But the nearly overlapping birth dates between Mary Word Bennett and Elizabeth Word Dodd strongly suggest this is the wrong parent connection for Elizabeth, unless we find she was adopted or something. Thanks for looking into it! Rob

Just took a trip to E. TX to find and collect photos. Just found one of four young children labelled Uncle Erby, Audry, Sid and Daddy (in parentheses what looks like an F, then it's torn off). Do those sound like the Marshes? I'll be happy to send you the file if I have your email address. How can we exchange emails so it won't be public?

You might check James Felton Marsh's memorial. I have added a few photos you might like. I love collecting photos for myself and my cousins. If you have any photos of Felton and Una's parents or grandparents, I would love to have copies for my cousins in that line. Thanks, Sharon

Aunt Nannie Mae was my daddy's sister. I loved her very much. It seems I only get to Woods when someone dies. This summer is was Felt and Nannie Mae's younger daughter, Agnes. That trip, I visited with my cousin Fred, his wife Judy, his son Jason and his wife Vickie. Fred was Harry and Una Marsh Knight's grandson.
I live in College Station and don't get up there very often, which is a good thing since it seems to take someone dying to get me there.
I met Lila many years ago, but did not really know her.
I appreciate you transferring their memorials to me. I'll be posting some photos soon but having a very busy week right now. Sharon

Thank you for the labor of love that you put into helping others with locating memorials for their loved ones and friends. I'm asking if you will transfer the maintenance of the memorials for my aunt and uncle buried in East Texas. I am trying to get my grandmother's children and grandchildren linked and having maintenance abilities would certainly help. Thank you so much. Their memorial numbers are 61695154 for Emma and 61695124 for Jodie.

Uncle Kenneth was married to my Aunt Pauline. I remember him as a very kind man. I'll be happy to transfer the maintenance over to you. I had asked for it before because of Aunt Pauline's grave next to him.
I'll keep control of Aunt Pauline's memorial though.

Sue, I received your Message. How very Sweet of You. I can't thank you, enough. God Bless You for taking care of this Cemetery. It is a lot of work, Documenting and taking Pictures. It is also one of the most rewarding things, I have ever done. Cindy

Transferred as requested. There are some 60 Daniel name memorials in my records, 80% of whom are relatives. Always try and find a 'Daniel'in cemeteries - it was my mother's maiden name.
As you are a cousin to Robert Daniel , there could be some relation, as most of my Daniel line lived in Palo Pinto County in the 19th century

Sue, Is this cemetery the same as the one that is listed in Fulton Co., GA. I have a book on Cemeteries and I started to place them in findagrave sight. Now it seems that there are two. The one in Clayton Co., and one in Fulton County. So,I will have to remover all that I posted. I have been trying the find on the net the information, to tie them together.
Thanks for your help. Searcher
