A photographer since high school I continue to expand my subject matter and have now found a place to share the photos of graves belonging to friends and family, and set up memorial pages in their honor. As an annual celebration of life, on the "Day of the Dead", I have set up altar displays to remember loved ones who have left this earth but never our hearts.|
Following the recent passing of my dad, Philip V. Banales, a WWII Veteran, I have become interested in documenting the gravesites of our military veterans. Please visit dad's memorial #104877639. My virtual cemetery "Veterans" includes friends, relatives, as well as any veteran gravesites I have personally photographed, contributed photos, created their memorial, or just wanted to honor in a small way with flowers of remembrance.
Last but not least, I pay tribute here to Lance D. Perez, loving husband and daddy to our daughter. He left this earth way too soon. Please visit his Memorial #115640088 or by going to my virtual cemetery, "Perez".
Dream as if you will be here forever, and live as if today is your last day on earth. God bless you and your loved ones.

Thank you for your sympathy, and your appreciation. I do try to include some of the area and/or surrounding memorials. I never know if the markers next to them are family or not. Even if they are not family, it might make finding this marker easier in the future. Something like "Hold up the picture, line up the trees, and look down."

My only regret was not being able to find the location. I had issues with the office staff not being able to give the right coordinates and no one being able to go out to the actual grave location. I am quite sure that if I had the help I needed that I would have had success in locating Alejandra.

I just wanted to thank you for taking this photo and posting it for me!! Would you be ok with me using it on my Ancestry site?
I read your bio and noticed that you recently lost you father. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I did go to his memorial page and noticed that he was born and lived in Pomona all his life! That is interesting to me because my mother was born in Pomona in 1931 and went to all the schools there. I think 4 of my siblings were born there as well:) My mother is currently living in Oregon and is 82 years old. She remembers her Great Grandparents, Alice and Joseph Putnam, very fondly so I will be so happy to share this photo with her!
Thank you again!!

I checked with the cemetery office, and they have no record of this person buried at this cemetery. I suggest you check the death certificate for Jesus Banales for buried information.

You're welcome. She is in the back "40", no trees, no statues. The place is huge. And the flowers never wilt - happy to help.
