Bio Photo UPDATE: Surgery for both knees was scheduled for Oct 17--but only one was done. I'm over 3 months into recovery and am doing well. But I have to do the whole business over again for the other knee. So, in the meantime, I am managing, earlier than I thought I would, to get back out to Green-Wood to fulfill requests. The new knee works pretty well so far.

Bernstein Grave
Hi Bob, Thank you so much for the photo of the resting place of Mary J Bernstein. Can't believe you found it without a headstone. I love the picture with or without a stone. Thank you again for all your efforts. They are very much appreciated. Best Regards,Joann

Thank you so much for photographing these graves. I was so surprised to see the request fulfilled so quickly. Susie Palmer is a first cousin 4x removed. Good luck with the next knee surgery. I know so many who have gone through this surgery and are thrilled with the results!

Green-Wood
Thank you so much for the photos of the Hughes family in Green-Wood. I really love it when the stones actually have more information than I realized. Have a blessed day.

RE: Christina Schaffer
Aloha Bob,
First, let me thank you for all the work you have done to add to this website. I really appreciate it and the work has added to my knowledge of my family.

I was hoping to obtain a photo of the white headstone directly (front and center). I erred in putting the request in under Christine McLellan Schaffer's name.

If you don't mind, I will create a memorial for David McLellan and request a photo. If you are not inclined to add another photo of the white headstone that is fine, perhaps another person would be willing.

Again, thank you for your contributions,
Kalena

Mathews
Thanks for the hard work and picture of Clark, Holmes and what should be a Mathews. The death date sounds right for my Bridget but the rest of the names of mathews does not. Will I ever find my Bridget Mathews wife of James Mathews? James died 1898 and have no idea where in New York City.

Actually I meant I had misplaced my note book with all the inscriptions I. Took note of on the day. Your certainly doing a great job. Martha came out here in 1884 and married at one of my great uncles farms. Then went back to Canada and died the following year after giving birth. Very sad.her son Richard lived his later life in Australia. Jen.
