|I became interested in family history when I attempted to document my grandmother's travel to this country from Germany. I was never able to find that information but have found a lot of my family's history in the process. If any information I have entered is incorrect, please contact me and I will correct it.|
I am currently working on family histories for the Redus, Radicke, and Blackerby families.

|Dr. William McDonald||Dwight Redus|
I saw the memorial page you posted for your relative, Dwight Redus. Very nice.
When I was a student at Southeastern Bible College in the late 60's I worked part-time as a janitor there to help pay my tuition. "Bro. Redus" was my supervisor. 40 years later I served as an adjunct professor at Southeastern University. I remember Dwight as a kind and compassionate man.
I just thought you'd be interested.

|Rebecca Nielsen Drumm||RE: George W Johnson|
George is not listed in the Cemetery Book for St. Joseph Co., Michigan for Riverside Cemetery. His death record shows that he died in Three Rivers, but it's hard to tell what cemetery he was buried in. There is a master index of burials for St. Joseph County Cemeteries at the library that you could check out if you live near here. If not, I could check next week.
Let me know.
James - William Redus, father of Thomas Redus, did not have a middle name and he was not a Quaker! History does funny things to us after we're gone...

You're welcome. I've taken several of her husband, but haven't been able to get one that is readable. I will try one more time for a better one before posting.

|Maria Russell||RE: Redus in Black Creek Cemetery in Frio instead of Medina|
Hi James, I find it funny, you had left a message for the person that entered your ancestors in Frio Co. instead Medina. I had left a message for Sara, who had left flowers for one of the Redus. I found it wierd that a person goes to take photos at a cemetery and entered in the wrong county. I happen to find the error when I was going to take as most photos I could to post on Findagrave. I am only tackling the small old cemeteries. I have added other cemeteries and since they are small I am also mapping and entering plot numbers. I do not know if anyone in the county has that information or not. Maybe funeral homes do that, I do not know. I figure it will not hurt any.
You have a nice week and good luck in your searching.
