James Giles @Newton Cemetery
Would you be willing to transfer the memorial for James Giles (#166135551) to me?

James Giles was my dad's great uncle, and I have a lot of information on James that I would like to add to his memorial including details on his 10 children.

Hi

Yes you may use my photos; but I do require that you source me as photographer and Find a Grave as their original location.

Thank you so much for being so considerate and asking permission...

Thank you for posting the memorials for Dorothy and Norman Paterson. Please transfer them to me as they are my husband's maternal grandparents.

Help return Missing In Action bracelet
I am currently in possession of Sgt Fred Schreckengost's MIA bracelet. His journey or his Ho Lo HoLo (journey without destination) nears end, as I narrow down a few last items, his final place, final journey, will be complete. We are small farmers, in Papaaloa Hi, 2 miles up the mountain of Mauna Kea, we have a small Airbnb Unwind, hike, ocean views and meditate, I will be honoring this man at the Laupahoehoe school park on May ?? 21 twenty one days from yesterday. I will find, lodging for all that come, however, you will be living in tents, on the mountain overlooking paradise. Details will be provided as the date nears.

Know that, we are retired NAVY from a time of HONOR COURGE and COMMITMENT days. This man, this hero lost and returned deserves a final HURA from his family, us left to tell story of a time most chose to ignore and forget. Please come, alone I will, together, we will, please.
Ky and Gene

His final spot, determined, not by you, but by him, will be here, on this land, he's ask and I shall give him his last wish, why, well it's the least I/we can do to honor a man who gave, gave, and gave all , because he had choice and he gave, or did he get drafted, still he had choice, he did not dodge, Honor, how much courage would it have taken back in 64 to set foot in a political shit storm, COURGE he does, Commitment to serve, not himself, but all of us, I was nearing a month old when this man, this man placed a foot in his grave, Vietnam, not his but the American people's grave, graves, lost, lost, lost hope, theirs, no, the me, me, me's and politicians in our home land, they never had commitment, but the fucking Marines, men did anyway, and lost. I am a reciepient of a military in disgrace, not in anyone's eyes, but the American people. I enlisted December 7 th 1976 at age 18. The American people, the ones who own all military assets, stopped kicking the tires, stopped defueling in port, and went from ragged to tattered, until, needed, again. Not war, as war is perceived, we of that times had Americans WARING against us, for fucking what?

Anyway, getting carried away, times tough, wife flew out yesterday, needed a break, been a long road here to our destinations with this man leading the way. I'm so proud to have been bestowed such honor, such corage and by golly we have not I have been committed, but we are tattered, tattered but not torn, showing signs of ripping, but not, we are, nobody, but we have enough to honor all!!

Peace love and hope
