Bio and Links
Bio Photo I very much enjoy interacting with folks on Find A Grave & sharing information. Thank you to everyone who goes 'out in the field' to get photos. This is such a help to me!!

I'm a member of: VT Mayflower Society, DAR, National Society of New England Women, Daughters of the War of 1812, Daughters of the Union, Founders of Cape Cod & the Islands, Descendants of the Founders of Hartford, CT. As a descendant of all these folks, it's my privilege to document & honor them on F/G.

It's also enjoyable to work on my husband's family as well as other people's pages.

I'm originally from CT, but moved to VT 20 years ago.

RE: Magdalena Goehring 15457491
I was too quick with linking and, yes, I agree that Emil is certainly not the husband of Magdalena. However, I did check and he is listed as her son for both 1930 and 1940 so I have relinked but this time with the mother/son relationship. As you requested, I have changed Magdalena's last name to Visny and added Goehring as her maiden name (although I think this may be her first husband's last name). As a side note, I noticed that the 1930 census lists Magdalena as divorced and Elizabeth is not with her - just Emil. However, 1940 census does list all three but Elizabeth is listed as a niece to Emil. Very interesting. Unfortunately none of these are my relatives and so have no answers. Marie

RE: Robert Albrecht
Sorry, I often look for family nearby and snap photos just in case but didn't notice this time. Although Rose Hill is not nearby, I do go there often since my in-laws are buried there. When we go again I can check for other Albrechts. Do you have a name?

I was there last week. Don't know who is going to place markers as I'm not familiar with the family.

photo request Thomas McCann, Manchester CT
The cemetery office has no record of Thomas McCann with these dates. They do have records of two Thomas McCann burials. Can you check with them at 860-647-3081 to determine dates? (They won't give me the information.)
